Wow.

One word I have to say: wow.
After reading all the opinions of others on this game I was pretty set that I was to be disappointed.
But with a frown on my face, I loaded up the game, and prepared to be very disappointed.
But.... that disappointment never came, after my first ten minutes of gameplay a smile was across my face.
Everything, was just so much fun, so colourful, just so unique. I have to say I am really enjoying the game right now,
and for those people unsure of getting this game, seriously, give it a shot, it's worth it.
Good job Splash Damage, keep it up ^_^

Cheers :)

The people who dislike the game are definitely a vocal Minority. Of course they are, they bought something they don't like and feel entitled to complain here, or maybe they just feel they need to vent, who knows.

But the game sold over 200k copies on pre-order alone, there are thousands more people enjoying the game and not posting at all :)

I for one am having a great time :D, i'm posting because i'm at work and a little bored. More than a little bored. almost dead.

Have fun playing!

Pretty much agree with you, OP. Last weekend after the game was leaked and people started playing it, I became somewhat disheartened at some of the comments people were making. Nonetheless, I had already purchased it on Steam, and loaded it up as soon as it was unlocked on Monday evening. I, like many, have suffered quite a bit with optimization issues with ATI cards, though. I rolled back my drivers which has helped a fair amount, though optimization patches are still definitely needed.

Looking past some of the technical issues that are currently present, the core game itself is a whole lot of fun. It's a fresh departure from most modern shooters, and really am loving almost everything about it so far. Be it TF2, BF2, MAG, and now Brink, teamwork and objective-based games have held a special place in my heart. Four days in, I've already sunk 30-some hours into Brink, so....yeah, 'nuff said  .

And for everyones information, I am on PS3 and playing on hard difficulty. The bots are actually quite challenging.
I've experienced no technical difficulties what-so-ever.

End of the day its your own personal opinion that matters, speaking of opinions I think that most of the people that were let down by Brink simply didnt bother checking it out beforehand and bought it simply out of its hype factor.

Now the game isn't up to CoD level, yet. I think for it to be there it just needs a few updates, expansions, and they are set. It's a lot of fun, but probably even more so with a friend as some of the challenges, like be more objectives two stars cannot be done alone.

Removed a few comments. Please refrain from posting platform trolling comments (PC vs. consoles, etc).

Lower level characters make them easier, and the unlocks carry over to ALL characters. Lv.1 > Lv.17 for challenges.

Ontopic: My only gripe, are the bots, Meat Shields =/= teammates.
