Anybody else noticed that there is a mage holding a staff in the picture?

Yes. That's supposed to be the mage nebula which houses the skill constellations for that archetype (the magic schools and enchantment) you'll also see the thief and the warrior in the skill menu as well.

What do you guys think of the perks system replacing birth signs, I myself quite like the perks idea but also think it it could effect the lore of the game something thats been part of Elder scrolls in the past 2 games and maybe more. (I don't know if they were in Daggerfall and arena as I never played them)
What do you think? Do you think they should have kept the picking of star signs at the start of the game aswell as perk? OR do you think the Skyrim style star signs is better?

Yes . I think they should of kept the picking of starsign's at the beginning of the game. For the reason that The birthsign - Antronach , for mage's char changed the whole dynamic's of the game. And i couldnt really see how they would replace that with a perk .

I doubt it would hurt to shove them back in though, its a rather simple thing.

I was actually thinking about this today.

If we are playing a specific character - the Dragonborn - it makes sense we wouldn't be able to select our birth sign. We'd already been born under a sign - the sign of the Dragonborn.

A little question to everybody saying they hope the perks DON'T light up stars in the actual in-game sky:
How would you guys feel if the stars were all present in the night sky, for everyone, all the time, but as you select a perk the corresponding star gets slightly brighter, or twinkles a little more? This would satisfy those who want their choice of perks to have an effect on the sky, while also satisfying those who don't believe it makes sense for new holes to be ripped in the sky (which, I guess, it really doesn't). Perhaps the character is becoming more aware of their connection to the stars and so notices the stars of their perks more. The brighter star or increased twinkliness would just be a game trope to facilitate this. Thoughts...?
