That would be my guess. Is it a body part or a piece of clothing? Either way, you need to assign a mesh to both upper legs and then either to the clothing itself or to your character's race.

Thanks papillon but.. :/ It literally says "check the readme to see which parts are used" multiple times. This tutorial doesn't actually tell you how to figure out for yourself which parts the mesh is trying to use or which parts to select. My problem is that I followed the readme to get these items in game (and did everything in this tutorial) and there's still a problem. Oh well. I can live with it, the outfit is just that fabulous.

Jac - It's both a body part and a piece of clothing. Right? Because to make clothing you have to create a body part.. I think.

Oh, I just read that someone else (http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8417) is having the same problem. The author says to contact him for troubleshooting. Maybe I'll try that.

mr stodern i just noticed that you said when you equip the skirt. this outfit is meant to set up as a one piece outfit not as separates. it should consist of a body suit top and shorts. and a skirt which when combined gets put on as one complete outfit. perhaps that is what is causing the error.

That answer actually had nothing to do with what the problem was. Guy could've said "make the skirt Type as Pants instead of Skirt". Cause that's what it was. Having never worked with the CS before, it wasn't immediately obvious, I just kept trying stuff until something worked.

Yes. You have to make a body part for the clothing first (chest, upper leg, etc.), before you can attach it to the clothing itself. The mesh on the clothing itself is what you see when you put it down, it's the meshes on the body parts that determine what's shown when you wear it.

Aw, thank you so much! That would've been perfect. But I got it working a few hours ago, after fighting with it for an hour or so. It's worth it though, what a nice outfit, huh?

sitll working on more. but its slow going.

hicks233. fixed version? i wasnt aware of any issues with the meshes and textures other than the fact that they are a modders resource and contain no esp. though i did give instructions on how to set them up. in one of the read me's

The only issue was that the readme isn't CS-newbie friendly. Experienced users might have been able to do it on the first try, but for me, under Clothing I selected type "Skirt" for the skirt file - it just seemed to make sense. I had to puzzle out for myself that what I was actually supposed to put there was Pants, not Skirt. Not gonna lie, I fought with your mod for about an hour, but like I said, it was worth it in the end. :D

I can't wait to see more from you with these beautiful high-quality textures. Yum!
