Am i wrong or is this face tatoos? : V

Trying to see some armors in the official trailer i noticed at the fight in 1.36min of the trailer,that both the pc and the npc seems to have face tattoos,need more eyes to check it out just to confirm please,but if thats in thats awesome,maybe we even get some for the body and not just the face

And yes,the tought occured to me that it could just be some shadows or blood on the faces,but seems to me too much of a defined shape for that.

Yup. I also believe you can use tatoos during character creation.

I think it's already been confirmed that there will be things like face markings and scars

They confirmed face paint, so that's probably what it is.

I think it was the GI podcast where the fans submitted questions, not totally sure though.

Yeah in the GI coverage they said you can put 'decals' on your character and armor.

The first one looked like a tattoo, but the 2nd one looks more like a scar. Which both are in supposedly.

That could be blur added when the video was edited too. Who knows. :shrug:

Because it's not an actual screenshot still. It's from pausing the actual trailer so he could upload just that single frame.

I'm so glad they're going to have tattoos and face paint. I love war paint, I would wear it my self if doing so wouldn't make people think I'm crazy. :dance:

Sweet based on the second guy i can make the witcher in skyrim...also can anyone imagine how cool the dunmer and beast races will look with facepaint?....finally a return to morrowind dark elves it seems!!!

This is what i did,no motion blur,was just the trailer paused at that frame,but the pc is doing a whirlwind kinda move there,so kinda hard to get a nice clear view of his face without heavy editing (wich i cba

) midway trough the move.

I don't remember it saying you could put decals on armor... and I'm sure I would have remembered something that epic.

I know they confirmed face paint and decals, but I don't think armor decals were ever mentioned. I think that the community just assumed decal referenced armor, because a decal is something that you would put on a car for instance.

Exactly what they meant in this case, tattoos. I don't think you can actually decal any objects other than your character's face. That would mean applying symbols to armor and things. The only decals your armor is likely to see is blood splatter.

(Edit) Well not just tattoos, also scars and face paints. Other decals like tattoos for body/arms/legs might be possible as well.
