On tesnexus in the wrye bash download there is a pythin installation file that will install everything you need (Wrye Python 03a). I use that file with 291 release and it works. That is the easiest way. Unistall what you did and download that installation file and run.
The manual way for the newer version I think there are instructions for all the files required in the opening Wrye Bash post:
Requirements:
?It's easiest to just download the WryePython03a package from TesNexus unless you like to customize your install.
(Python 2.6.5 or Python 2.6.6), wxpython 2.8.11.0 ansi, ComTypes, psyco 1.6 for Python 2.6, and PyWin32 for Python 2.6
Older/Newer versions _may_ work but those are probably the most widely used and tested
