Fixed 282 is waiting on two things.
1) Testing of the new fix I wrote (see my above post)
2) Getting in touch with PacificMorrowind. I could release it myself (Wrye gave me permissions to do so way back when), but I'd rather not step on PacificMorrowind's toes since he's pretty much the lead now. PacificMorrowind may want to review/clear the changes I've made.

As far as the new feature requests and other comments, we're not ignoring them. Just putting them on hold until 282 is out and stable. Once it is, I'll go back and comment on everything.

I'm away for a few months and forget the very basic rules of posting about mod help, lol Anyways, I am somewhat relieved to know that some problems are going around (as opposed to me screwing up the install). Before taking a break several months ago, I was using Wrye 281 and Python25 auto-install app on TESN, worked like a charm. That's the most recent stable combination I'm aware of.

What do you mean by copy it? I do not know what you are talking about. I was referring to how TES4Gecko added more than ten files to my Oblivion folder, and I do not like clutter.

I installed TES 4edit & Gecko into their own folders under the Oblivion directory and copied just the perspective executables back up there, they both seem yo be working fine...
