Wrye - Import Mod and Deactivate

I was thinking of using Ranokoas Organized Potions, but I see that Wrye wants me to import the mod and deactivate it. I have tried selecting the Import Names option and have checked off Ranokoas' mod, but when I rebuild the bash patch, the names don't get imported. The Import Names section of the bashed patch shows Ranokoas, but there is nothing listed under Renamed Items. Do I have to explicitly export Ranokoas to a csv file, then import that into the bash patch?

Testing it now. You don't have the Tweak names setting for potions turned on in the bashed patch, do you?

Give me time to rebuild my patch and I'll report back.

I don't think there's a csv for this mod. So, do I have to create one then? When I select import names, the mod is listed as an esp, not a csv. I thought that since the mod was listed, I'd be able to import the names directly, without having to export it first. I did check off the mod in the import names list.

Another question: do I even have to do anything? I don't have a huge mod list and certainly no overhauls, so can I just leave the esp as is? I have loaded Supreme Magicka and Advanced Alchemy, so I was a bit concerned about conflicts, although Wyre seems happy so far :)

Waiting for TES4Edit, but it looks like it worked.

Did you remember to select both the ESP file in the right hand pane, and the Import Names category itself in the left hand pane? Both need to be checked for it to be active. Forgetting to check the category itself in the left pane is a common mistake.

TES4Edit finished. It's working for me as long as no later loading mod overrides it and is also tagged "Names".

Yes I had both panes checked - I don't get the files option if I don't select Import Names. I was using Wrye - would it be better to use TES4Edit? How do I do it with TES4Edit?

EDIT: Do you mean "create merged patch" with TES4Edit?

No, TES4Edit is only for checking the results of building the bashed patch in this case. A very useful tool for finding out why something didn't work right.

What version of Wrye Bash are you using. It worked correctly with the new 284 package released last night.

I'm using 283. I just checked the bashed patch and the only thing it contains are the cells from All Natural, so the name import definitely didn't work.

Let's go through the steps to make sure I'm doing it right:
1. Right-click on bashed patch and select rebuild.
2. Check off Alias Mod Names, Import Cells (for All Natural) and Import Names.
3. Highlight Import Names and select Ranokoas Organized Potions.esp as the Source Mod.
4. Click ok.

It chugs away and lists Ranokoas' mod under Import Names, but nothing under Renamed Items. If this is all correct, then maybe I should try 284.

EDIT:
To answer ishmaeltheforsaken, Ranokoas is active in the mod list. I don't know whether they have to be or not.

EDIT:

Copy a fresh bashed patch out of Oblivion\Mopy\Extras and try only importing Import Names for that mod. What happens then?

Uncheck the Alias thing, it's rarely used.

Experiment: check Oblivion.esm in Names as well. Maybe the bashed patch needs something to change it from?
