ye its nothing to be surpised tho, if it was in like 2-3 weeks they wouldve announced it.. and thats probably when they started to port the pc version from the 360.. and its 90% the reason why a beta got leaked

I do. I've just played against my first hacker. It makes me rather angry, and almost causes me to be impatient about the patch. However I will just settle this by shelving my Crysis 2 for now whilst keeping myself updated on this forum.

Well that's not so bad as long as they fix the rest of the bugs like this week and next. In 2-3 months it'll be like getting a brand new game for free!

they might be sued by nvidia if they dont........knowing EA, crytek might be busy developing dlc for console monkeys than focusing on post release support.

I've had enough of reading articles from any and every website on the web, I'll just keep patiently waiting until Crytek/EA release a statement regarding this themselves.

That said I'm pretty confident we'll get a DX11 patch eventually... But I agree that the various multiplayer problems, and bugs should be patched first.

As far as I'm concerned, I can wait, my copy of Crysis 2 isn't going anywere, and neither am I.

Maybe you need to read carefully dude.. seriously you kids need reading lessons.

A spokesperson for publisher EA then added "We have not made any official announcements about a patch yet."

Whoever posted on that website can either just assumed by rumor. Do you realize April's Fool is in a few days?

Also Crytek said they are working on DX11 but no concrete release date. SERIOUSLY enough dx11 threads. Everyone needs to know there is NO RELEASE date. They working on it yes and it takes time.

1.2 patch updates are coming. MAYBE BE PATIENCE?

Thank god. I hope Crytek takes AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

I'd rather have a well done patch 3 months from now filled with DX 11 features than some uselesss tacked on **** a week from now.

there is no guarantee that dx11 patch wont be half assed in 3 months. This game took 3 yrs and is still a half baked console port

I will believe it when crytek says this. Anyway, its not even worth it at this point, we already know the game svcks. Im not buying a DX11 card till BF3.

I was ready to buy a whole new computer if this game had been as awesome as crysis. Now I know why theye didn't include DX11. Console ports are not worth it...

No they started in november according to the article linked in an earlier post.

"According to an anonymous trusted source, Crytek only started to develop for DirectX 11 in November 2010 and was unable to get it ready in time for the game's launch earlier this month."

So ya, they say this is a PC game first, then they start working on DX11 only when the game is almost finished. apples and oranges right?

Edit: For the record I'm not one of those "DX11 WILL SAVE US ALL!" people. Just putting that out there b4 some1 throws around accusations.
