There are for hand to hand but you dont get the camera effect, so they dont look as good and are kinda hard to see. But yeah, magic and bow finishers needed.

Yep. I would have liked some Bow finishers like the VATS gun finishers, that would have been fun. Magic finishers could have been awesome.

Just seems like a weird thing to leave out, when a lot of work obviously went into the melee finishers.

I am pretty sure someone said that there are bow finishers.

And there are magic finishers, too; they just require a perk and don't have a little cutscene.

What more are you suppose to do with magic or a bow? You hit them with the arrow/spell... and? you're going to do what? it's not practical to give finisher moves to bows or magic, given that both can miss at the final second it is also not practical to use VAT styled cut-scenes either. VATs worked because the accuracy was decided by a % change to hit rather then a collision based hit like skyrim uses.

Oh man!

That's just NOT FAIR!

Before I go tell my mum... I will mention that I quite like the way Archery functions in "Skyrim".

A bow is actually quite a functional tool, even if it's not a weapon that your character specialises in.

And if you do specialise in it... well I'm told there are all sorts of perks.

Finishing moves for ranged weapons? Sounds dullwitted.

I was suprised by this, the bow one surely wouldn't of been that hard...

*slow motion of a head shot* - Simple but effective.
*slow motion dramatic death as an arrow pierces the heart* - Alittle more difficult but fine.

Anything would of done, afterall it would look fine while in slow motion.

Magic I guess is abit harder, but you could of taken the slow motion principle and ran with it.
Sorry I don't use any real magic, so I'm not very inventive here.
I'm not complaining I'm sure it might annoy me after a while... maybe...

I, for one, am happy that there are no finishing moves for bows and magic.

Yeah I mean its not like it never been done before, wait what?

Fallout 3 already has ranged finishers. Not having them in Skyrim is illogical.

As for magic, who wouldnt want to see a small vid of an enemy turning in to a pile of dust from getting roasted alive with a dual cast fireball, or exploding in to a fine dust cloud from chain lightning or freezing and shattering from frost storm.

Ranged finishers are very doable, just look at fallout 3. It's disappointing that Skyrim doesn't have them. Once I saw my husband get some awesome mellee finishers I rerolled my archer and became a warhammer wielding paladin instead. ;)

Maybe if it was optional, scaled back and didn't trigger as often as melee.Otherwise no thanks.

Bow Finisher should pin your opponent to a wall or whatever, Magic finishers would leave behind a charred corpse.

Great. And when there isn't a wall or you didn't use fire/lightning?

Ranged finishing moves are illogical full stop, regardless of what other games had them.

Destruction finishing moves would be something like the mage finally finishes off his opponent and sighs at his fingers "Y U no work GOOD?!"

Destruction needs attention from the devs, but finishers are way, way down the list, if on it at all.

The only way a finisher should be in for bows, is if you have enough damage with your bow to kill in 1 hit, (plus whatever effects like sneak multiplier obv.)

The cinematics should basically be a slow-mo headshot kind of the same one featured in Sniper 2 (i think that's what the game was called?)
