WTF! Friendly deathclaw?! My dream comes true?

I have no idea what causes this.

I just fast-travelled to Greentop Nursery, then I saw THIS deathclaw wandering around the survivor camp.

I was really horrified because I recently killed a death claw in Old Gullet Sinkhole, which is near the survivor camp.

I thought that death claw went to the camp for revenge or something, so I quickly entered VATS.

Then I figured out that death claw is "green" in VATS, which means he's friendly.

No wonder the survivors there were doing nothing about him, and the death claw wasn't running or acting aggresively as well.

As I was taking photos of the "big star", some stingwings went in my way and started to inturrupt us.

At this point, the death claw roared and got angry (attack mode). I thought I was done for.

But the death claw wasn't mad at me... he torn some stingwings to shreds in front of my face, then return clam afterwards.

I got rekt to death by additional stingwings because I was busying taking photos of the death claw and wasn't paying attention to my health.

I thought the friendly death claw would be gone after I load the previous save... but no, he still spawned in Greentop Nursery, like he's one of the resident there.

He went to the place where the death claw I killed lived and stayed there. Didn't turn hostile.

I tried fast-travelling to other places then fast-travelled back. He was still there, and still friendly.

Well... I guess Greentop Nursery got a new friendly supreme guardian. :D

Why?? Is this glitch? Is anyone experiencing this?

I'm so confused...

Alright, now I'm more concerned that if he will stay forever...

I haven't gotten too far in the game yet, still hoping for a talking death claw. Would love to have a long conversation with the intelligent ones. Was actually hoping for a deathclaw companion this game.

Most likely a glitch, tho there is at least one friendly deathclaw as part of a quest.

I saw a friendly feral ghoul at least i think he was feral, i think it was friendly. It was laying down in a dungeon but I shot him anyway. looked like he was getting up as i opened the door. dont know what he would have done.

I'm thinking that would be a game a Bethesda provided surprise feature. (as in bug, glitch, to the rest of us).

Reason, why would that happen without some explanation or a quest? If it was intended by design, and no related

quest or a provided reasoning, taht would be beyond lame.

So, I'm hoping it is a 'feature' and not by design.

Pretty sure that one is for a quest where you have to return its stolen egg. Freaked me out even when I had the quest but after I was a little disappointed it didn't become a companion.
