Speaking of Imperial Foresters...one of my early WTFs was watching an Imperial Forester attack another Imperial Forester. I love it. There's a wonderfully anarchic Keystone Kops quality to that glitch that never gets old for me.

I have never seen two Imperial foresters trying to kill each other. I've looked all over the place, but not once have I seen it. :nope: :(

My best WTF moment was right when I started the game out of the sewers. I was all "oooh, look at that pretty ruin over there." So I swam over. "Oh, look! Some people to talk to!" One hammer blow to the head by a redguard bandit lady and I was dead.

Same for me, other than that the balls of death in cave entrences, and one time riding along in mid air with no horse.

Balls of death? You mean the Will-of-the-wisps, hate those. If ur a thief based character you have almost no chance of taking them out unless you're lucky enough to come across a enchanted knife or bow.

Sorry I should have been clearer I meant the swinging ball + chain traps ( wrecking balls ? is it ).
You are right though come to mention it though the first will'o wisp that encountered my character was a wtf moment too for me.

Haha ya you can't hit them with much and then you run away and you're like phew I'm safe and then they are right in front of you.

Spent 10 minutes fighting 3 Xivlai and used up about 100 of the non homeade potions and died. It seemed like over half of my spells just made them turn purple which is spell absorption I believe. I fought so hard and get killed by the dang clannfear when I have the last one paralyzed and nearly dead.

One of the best places to find it is just west of Bruma, around Applewatch and Capstone Cave. Two Forester's ranges overlap there, so sooner or later they wind up mixing it up.

One time i was in Bruma Castle (with the countess' rare items) and an argonian in the dark brotherhood armor was opening the display cases and taking her items when she was sitting right next to him. I followed him to a cave about half way between Bruma and the Imperial city and he had a treasure trove so i killed him and took what i could but i didnt get kicked out of the brotherhood so i wasnt sure if he was an actual member or not.

My WTF moment was when Alberic Litte, of the Chorrol Mages Guild, sat down to dine with his peers in the upstairs dining room. He clipped through some piece of dinnerware on his attempt to sit, and the item began to resonate. It kept shaking more and more violently, and was finally launched-- like a rocket plate-- at the maximum speed the engine can handle, into the rest of the table set and food. Items simply exploded out and bounced all over the room flying. The noise of objects hitting things was really loud and intense, because there were dozens of collisions all at once, and the chaos lasted several seconds.

None of the mages seemed to notice that anything unusual had occured. Alberic Litte remarked vaguely that he heard daedra worship was becoming increasingly popular in the Summerset Isles.

Entering Rockmilk cave and hearing a weird rattling noise. I headed towards it and found a massive spiky thing on a chain spasming and whirling around the room for a few seconds, swatting bandits, marauders and even Mazoga before reattaching itself to the ceiling  WTF was my only response to it.

Nice. That's REALLY strange. Another WTF moment (that everyone experiences) in Rockmilk cave is the bosmer that falls from the cave ceiling at the beginning. It seems like wherever there's insanity in TES, there's probably a bosmer.

My latest WTF moment was during a trip to the Imperial City. I'd just gotten to the point in the main quest where
Spoiler
Mythic Dawn "sleeper agents" in various will attack you if they see you.
I'd just stepped into the Talos Plaza District when I get attacked by some woman. Before I can so much as draw my sword, a guard who happened to be passing by leaped into the fray, attacked the woman, and killed her.

...And then proceeded to bend down over the body and declare, "There's a murderer on the loose."

 Uh, yeah. It's you. Multiple personality disorder ftw?

Indeed, that is very funny when it happens :D

One of the best WTF moments of mine was probably the time, when I was lurking at the Waterfront (or was it Anvil...?). Well, a pirate came towards me and drew her sword. Then she somehow got stuck in the ground, her head started stretching out to the skies and it looped equip/unequip animations for some time, until a guard came and killed her. Then I somehow got a 1000gp bounty? :D:D:D They thought as if I had killed her!

One of my biggest WTF moments in recent memory was when I had just arrived back to the DB sanctuary after getting the Cleanse type quest where you kill them all. I entered the main room to immediately find Morcheeva in a pitched battle with the Orc assassin in the full armour. He killed her. No one even batted an eyelid. Saved me from doing it, but it was still extremely weird and I couldn't help but giggle.

That reminds me of an occasion, when I accidentally smacked Vicente Valtieri with my fists :D I was expelled, of course, but when I went back to the sanctuary, Vicente was still hostile towards me! Well, I tried to yield - didn't work. I lured him outside so that a guard would kill him and he'd hopefully stop being hostile towards me. Nope, didn't work. And the best of all, I didn't know "charm (etc.)" spells modify disposition positively  Alas, I couldn't continue doing DB quests as the current DB quest required for me to speak to Vicente... FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUuuuuuuuu...!

The Mythic Dawn sleeper cells are hilarious sometimes haha. Like how earlier one of them kills two innocent civilians in front of Farwil and he does nothing. Afterwards he just says "Whats going on with you?"

Some lady just nearly coughed up a lung and then the guy next to her ignores and talks about good news from Kvatch.

I just had a good WTF moment last night. I was in an Oblivion Gate, and...you know those http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Traps#Citadel_Guillotine_Blade? Well, one of those smacked my character square on the noggin. Except instead of doing any damage, it proceeded to punt her through the floor.

She dropped down a story, got stuck in the wall, and then proceeded to topple over and fall out of the world space into a grayish-red void. I was just about to throw up my hands and reload from my last save when my character suddenly teleported back to the floor below the guillotine traps, good as new.

To make it even more perfectly WTF, she appeared next to her friend http://lovkullen.net/Emma/Vilja.htm, who looked at her in confusion and asked, "What was that?"

:lmao:

One of my WTF moments came when a Bandit Archer shouted "Jump on my sword while you still can!" I though "If you want me to jump on your sword, you'll have to stop shooting me with your bow and draw it first."

Another one happened while I was traveling north on the Red Ring Road just west of the Imperial City. I was just doddering along when a Scamp came running south like he was being chased by Akatosh himself. He ran right past me like I wasn't even there. I followed him until he came across an Imperial Legion soldier on horseback (this was after two or three minutes IRL and about an hour in game). I was never able to figure out where he came from, where he was headed or why. I haven't encountered that with any of my other characters.

And another one happened when one of my Mage characters used a custom area spell on a group of bandits. They all went flying and one of them ended up in the ceiling of the cave. All you could see was a pair of legs sticking down. Ouch.

And yet another happened one time I entered the IC Market District. A Mythic Dawn agent just launched into the sky and fell back dead. The weirdest part was that this was at night and nobody else was around.

So my biggest WTF moment was a couple days after starting a new character. Of course what I do with EVERY new character is after exiting the sewers swim across and kill the bandits, take the Imortal Blood book (its one of my favorites) and then head off to the market to pawn my sewer crap I dont need, I feel the beginning of a new character is incomplete without such process. Anyway I came back a few days later to go explore vilverine but I decided to see if the bandits at the camp respawned. They were standing but not alive... to be specific they were slightly levitating above ground legs perfectly together and there arms were each spread wide. No joke they both looked like they had been crucified. I should have taken a picture because it freaked me the hell out. After about 5 minutes of staring in amazement I decide to see waht would happen if I did a little pokey pokey with my sword and as I did there bodies fell to the ground like the cross that was once invisible is now gone. WTF

Haha interesting how people have rituals with their characters. I always just go straight to the Market District, sell all the stuff, buy the best stuff I can afford and march down to the Bloodworks.
