Lol!

You're carrying too much mate. Check your inventory for encumbrance (lower bit of the screen), and drop some loot if you're exceeding your max (typically 300 for a new character).

Well I got into some weird slow motion thing too today (and I'm aware of over encumbrance

), in that I got hit with a lag spike (one of them 5 second freezes that occurs for some players, unfortunately including myself) while blocking while the blocking performed slow motion (Spellbreaker shield equipped). I did a whole battle while in slow motion (I did let go of the mouse button, probably while the lag spike lasted, dunno), and I didn't get out of it until I tried to block again. Really weird.

Each item in the world generally has a numerical weight rating and so all the items you carry are tallied up against the maximum weight you can carry without being slowed by over-encumberment, When in youre items list I believe in the bottom right corner is this information. Also in the top left when playing in the world a massage will flash up occasionally saying you are over encumbered too. Good luck with the quests etc.
