I have no idea why this is happening. I think it's a bug. Maybe an NPC that's not supposed to be hostile. You kill him, and everybody hates you.

IIRC, it's something about killing a tribal in the beginning, or wearing NCR armor. Did you do either of those?

That is a bug there have been several other reports of this happening, as for a work around try loading an earlier save it might help.

There is a scripted event where Follows-chalk will sneak up on and kill a member of the white legs after you cross the bridge. If you hit him you fail the quest.
Edit: Ninjaed multiple times. :sadvaultboy:

Apparently people have an itchy trigger finger for anything tribal >_>

Edit: Don't apologize Tank, you just got the DLC, you had no way of knowing, and you might not have looked at your ticker.

I'm really hoping that there's quest text that people just aren't reading or something

That or I'm slightly upset for some of these people

You might have shot during the scripted sequence, apparently this is a frequent user side error occuring. But to be fair, if you have an itchy trigger finger, it's bound to happen. Next time, just remember that the death of the Caravan at the beginning is scripted. Meaning you DO NOT want to mess with it, it will play out on it's own.

To be honest, Obsidian could've worked around this. Just "DisablePlayerControls." I'm sure there wouldn't have been a riot over a short cut scene.

In this case:

Hide like girl= Fun DLC time.
Try to play An Hero= You just borked your DLC

(To point out Exprasates claim again, the plays arent ENTIRELY at fault, with such a tricky scene, it would have been better had they disabled the PC controls during the event)

I agree, this DLC is very short.

The weapons are good and so are the companions, but after dead money, this was down right dissapionting.

Also a big middle finger to the pro legion.

That worries me. Do you have to screw the legion? Is there no choice to ignore it, or let it happen? My main character is level 30, and done with the Legion up to the final mission. They're also my favorite character, period, so I'm doing this DLC with them.

Will my Legion affiliation be a problem?
