Basically, Wulfgar is the greybeard that needs to teach me the last word of power for the unrelenting force shout. This is everything I've done: I went to Riverrun to get the horn of Jurgen Windcaller. I went to High Hrothgar to learn the last word of power from Wulfgar. The three greybeards are getting in a circle, but Wulfgar teleported to a new location (on a mountain by the alchemist's shack). I tried reloading the game, loading an older save file, clicking the quest on/off button multiple times, I went outside the back way, came back inside, left through the front door, then came back in with no luck, I also closed the gate where I used the whirlwind sprint and that didn't help. I even completed the Blade in the Dark quest to see if he would reappear in High Hrothgar. I know this has been a problem since the original skyrim game came out and I need to know how to fix it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm playing Skyrim: Special Edition on an Xbox One if that helps

I have the exact same problem I spent 20 minutes traversing this very steep hill to get to Wulfgar and when I talk to him he just bows without saying anything(or putting final word on the ground)


For me Wulfgar teleported to the steep mountain between Helgen and Haemar's Shame(east of Helegen). His location is much closer to HS than Helgen.


I also closed the gate where you learn the whirlwind shout.


When learning the second word I encountered the same problem with other greybeard but I just left High Hrothgar and re entered and it fixed itself, but it won't do that for Wulfgar.

I have already logged 8 1/2 hours on this character so restarting is not an option for me

Same, I put a decent amount of time so I can't restart my save.

Just made a save next to Wulfgar to fall back on. I'm going to continue on and hopefully it fixes it self. Good luck to you.
