Is it just me, or does the pic of the black tentacle with tesselation off is better than Tesselation on? I hope that was a typo!

Good news everyone!

Hope this graphical patch helps more people to understand that Crysis 2 has great gameplay also!

In my opinion, Crytek never let us down. They appeased the console community by releasing on all three major platforms while they quietly prepared the visual overhaul that would make C2 everything we visually wanted. Frankly, I thought the game looked great to begin with, so this will truly blow the competition out of the water. I'll be honest and say that these screenshots lead me to believe it will surpass even Battlefield 3 in the raw visual department.

I'm still hyped for B3 mind you, but it would be a weird world where a Crytek game doesn't set the benchmark for visual quality.

And Face hits the Keyboard. The Frostbite engine was made primarily for the pc. and the consoles are getting a dripped down port. LOL how freaking funny to say consoles are getting a PC Port.

Now about Crysis I hope this is enough to bring back some players. And people will by the DLC so we can play some of the bigger maps. The DX11 patch looks freaking beautiful. But Battlefield is PC Standard!!

PSU's are cheap man but you can get a Corsair one for £50

Yeah that's not the problem. I have more than enough cash to buy the stuff. My parents just don't trust me with upgrades and forbid me to "waste" my money on them. I've even proven to them that I can upgrade, I took apart every single part of my desktop down to the CPU and rebuilt it...still all I get is a "no."

Too bad Newegg doesn't accept cash.

Newegg may not accept cash, but they do accept pre-paid Visa Gift cards. Simply head over to your friendly neighborhood Walgreens, Wal-Mart, anywhere that sells them, buy one (will cost you $5 over whatever you put on the card). Go home, hop on Newegg, order your parts.

I do not use my real credit card info online anywhere. I make all my online purchases via pre-paid Visa Gift cards, I have been for years. For me, it's a security thing, for you it would solve your Newegg not accepting cash problem. lol

Anyway, on the topic of DX11 and high-res textures, I am looking forward to it as well. I own the hardware that I do for a reason, I want to see it put to use. heh

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @ 4.1GHz - ASUS Crosshair IV Formula MB - 2 AMD XFX Radeon HD 6970 (Flashed 6950's) 2GB Reference VC - 8GB A-Data XPG 1600G Gaming Series DDR3 (In profile description). Only running one VC at the moment. On a single 1080P display, no need what so ever for Crossfire. haha
