PSU's are cheap man but you can get a Corsair one for £50
Yeah that's not the problem. I have more than enough cash to buy the stuff. My parents just don't trust me with upgrades and forbid me to "waste" my money on them. I've even proven to them that I can upgrade, I took apart every single part of my desktop down to the CPU and rebuilt it...still all I get is a "no."
Too bad Newegg doesn't accept cash.
Newegg may not accept cash, but they do accept pre-paid Visa Gift cards. Simply head over to your friendly neighborhood Walgreens, Wal-Mart, anywhere that sells them, buy one (will cost you $5 over whatever you put on the card). Go home, hop on Newegg, order your parts.
I do not use my real credit card info online anywhere. I make all my online purchases via pre-paid Visa Gift cards, I have been for years. For me, it's a security thing, for you it would solve your Newegg not accepting cash problem. lol
Anyway, on the topic of DX11 and high-res textures, I am looking forward to it as well. I own the hardware that I do for a reason, I want to see it put to use. heh
