I have no idea if others have this issue, but I simply cannot find Xander root very often. Anyone know of good locations to find these things?

I had a problem with that too, but there is lots of xander roots in honest hearts.

more than a dozen can be found around Deathclaw Promontory, fallout wiki tells me.

The largest amount (37 so far) within a relatively small area can be found by carefully scanning the whole area left and right of the road leading from http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ruby_Hill_Mine to http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Jacobstown including the surroundings of http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Silver_Peak_Mine, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Ranger_Station_Foxtrot and http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Remnants_Bunker.

Check outside the Goodsprings Schoolhouse. That's what Xander Root looks like.

There's a couple along the path Barton Thorn asks you to follow. There's more in the ridges south of that location around Lone Wolf Radio.

Xander Root typically grows next to sheer faces of some sort - such as cliffs. Look carefully, and you might find some.
