I have a 360 controller where the ruber grips on the anolog sticks have come off leaving the bare plastic underneath. As you can imagine it's uncomfortable and makes playing a game like Darksouls a bit frustrating. My only other option is to use a child sized controller with a gumbed L1..... you see my delima, yes?


So how can I fix my controller? Not looking to buy anything but wanting a quick cheap fix that will get the job done.

The original grips are long gone so I guess this would be more of a DIY replacement.

Check craigslist for another controller.

Either that, or pick up some cheap material of your choice, and use rubber cement to hold it on.

You can also try googling your area for "Xbox repairs."

There's likely a person in your city that works from home and repairs consoles/controllers for a modest fee.


The guy in my city has saved my butt a few times now.
