blessings of talos register but on the display it say blessing of talos reduces time between shouts 0% and then the remaining hours

oh and a mudcrab ganked the dragon that i was fighting which i thought was epic

oh and once when i was in the first main quest dungeon that place near riverwood at the part where the bandit usealy pulls the lever then dies i attacked him first before he even made a move for the lever and then i noticed all the puzzle stones were on hawk and wouldnt move had to go back to a later save the one from when i exited what ever building before i even made my way to the dungeon cuz the dungeon entrance one still had the hawks facing out and not moving

SHOUTS: I am not able to unlock shouts with my collected souls. :(

I also have this issue. It says "Dragon Souls are required to unlock shouts." Have not started the Greybeards section of main quest yet so that may be the problem. I definetely have 12 souls as I have not used one yet.

More about the White Vial quest bug. The Briarheart doesn't ever respawn,although a forsworn weapon respawns every second...i have no idea what is going on.

Oblivion Walker Achievement did not unlock even though i had had 15/16 artifacts in my hand at one point - i currently have 13/16 in my inventory - the other 2, skeleton key was put back into nocturnals room for thief quest and ohgrims book was used after receiving it. i did allow the skull of corruption to be destroyed. Wondering if taking Azuras Star instead of Black Star made the difference.

quest items not being removed or even being allowed to be removed from inventory even after quest is completed - found a small workaround for weapons and i can force them onto display racks/cases or weapon racks or else i get a quest items cannot be removed from inventory message and then they fall to the ground like i dropped them

I've got quite a few to mention.

1) After completing The Forsworn Conspiracy, and the following forsworn rampage through Markarth, which resulted in quite a few npc deaths, some of the surviving npcs are retriggering misc quests that I've already completed: "speak to Verulus about the Hall of The Dead" (already killed and bit him for The Taste of Death), "Speak to Degaine" (already did Heart of Dibella), and "Talk to Mulush about Omluug" (Mulush was killed by the aforementioned Reachmen assault).

2) All of the Jarls that were replaced by my path through the Civil War line, are all present in Windhelm. Possible this may be SUPPOSED to happen, but can't see a reason why.

3) A misc quest "Collect Bounty from Brina Merilis" cannot be toggled active, or shown on the map. I've tried talking to her to see if I can collect a bounty, but there's no dialogue option for it.

4) Cannot obtain the Lover's Comfort buff, even when sleeping next to spouse. Perhaps this may have something to do with my spouse also being a housecarl from another city.

5) Parts of Whiterun have not been rebuilt after the Civil War quest there. The gazebo around the Gildergreen is still smashed, and a pile of rubble outside Heimskr's House prevents me from getting in the door (does not have an open option).

6) Riften guards spawn inside the city, and are attacked by Imperial soldiers.

7) After becoming Thieve's Guild Master, none of the Thieve's Caches have spawned, except in Windhelm.

8) Penitus Oculatus soldiers at the top of the tower from To Kill an Empire occassionally respawn, and are marked as enemies, but do not move from top of tower and do not attack.

9) Strange Amulet from Blood on the Ice never changed to Necromancer's Amulet, despite having completed the quest.

10) Bodies of the late Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak and Galmar Stone-Fist still litter the halls of The Palace of Kings.

11) Dialogue options are still availiable for, and npcs still comment about the civil war, even though I've completed the quest line.

12) The Gift of The Gab perk does not show up on the active abilities list, even though I've completed Tending The Flames, and attended the effigy burning.

13) Civil War maps in various locations throughout Skyrim show different flagged locations under control by different factions. ex. the map in Dawnstar shows Windhelm in Stormcloak control, while the map in Windhelm shows all but Riften under Imperial Control.

After killing the dragon in "a blade in the dark" Delphine won't talk to me like she's supposed to & therefore I can't progress in the game. The game only gives me the option to pickpocket her.

I just hit a bug with "The Cure For Madness" Shadowmere never appears when you need to go find Anbjorn, but I can hear him gallop to where he is supposed to.

-^-^-^- I noticed that this is the case especially after using the “Unrelenting Force” shout. -^-^-^-

I've read through the entire list and all of my problems are in there EXCEPT for one.

My arrows are now not registering hits. I've tested this over and over and over and over again to make sure it's not me. I've tried switching bows, arrow types, different targets on the body, and nothing works. This is especially difficult to deal with in the "Boethiah's Calling" mission where you have to kill everyone stealthily.

Gonna copy/paste my primary game issue here (also, here's the http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1287549-korvanjund-impossible-to-get-through/page__p__19420900#entry19420900)

I joined the Imperial Legion and did the initiation quest for them very early on, but I didn't actually start the Jagged Crown quest until about 2 or 3 days ago. Now, prior to starting it, I had come across Korvanjund and cleared the outside section of bandits and had gone inside only to find a single bandit and the path ahead blocked by rubble so I didn't think much of it and just left after grabbing whatever looked valuable (I wasn't aware that Korvanjund was a quest location at the time).

After starting The Jagged Crown now, the rubble inside is still there and there is no way past it. It's impossible to complete the quest.

I can't complete the "stop the skooma trade" for the Jarl of Riften because I cleared the required dungeon prior to receiving the quest. Its stuck at "clear out the cave" part.

Save Titles/Pictures sometimes de-synchronize from what they actually are and occasionally an "invisible save" ends up at the bottom of the list of saves.

You can fall through any floor that has a pile of items on it...

I stashed a pile of skulls in the fire pit in my house in whiterun and if i jump into the pit i fall right through the floor (and i can see some of my items that have disappeared briefly before returning to the front door)
This is easily replicable by putting a pile of anything large enough in one location and then jumping/walking on it.

I've done it with soul gems and gold bars in my Arch-mage quarters as well.

Since this point i have started hoarding my loot in containers rather than in piles..... although I'm sure Scrooge Mc Duck is rolling over in his grave.

Days as a werewolf still increase even after you've been cured! I've loaded an old save and tried resting to see if it was just a fluke but nope even after I cure myself the days as werewolf number increases.

Yup been a werewolf for over 200 days now, also the guards react like you are a werewolf too with "wolfish grin" and the "fur out of your ears" lines. Really annoying. All the abilities are gone though.

After finishing the DB questline completely there's a spot near the bed where a chest stands. The big room downstairs with the mannequin and weapon rack. I have fallen through the floor three times now after backing away from it when I put items in that chest.
I end up in the ice path(the one you walk through the first time you get to that sanctuary) and can walk out again through the wall. Turn around and the wall is again solid. If it only happened once I wouldn't bother reporting but it's been three times already to the point I no longer even go near the place.

Intimidation "count" also doesn't work for some people even if you've succeeded. If you were at 3 intimidations and just succeeded in another one, it could still remain at 3 total.

The Night to Remember quest did this to me a while back.

The farmer whose goat was with a Giant could be intimidated, but it wouldn't count it. So I traveled to Whiterun and intimidated Ysolda about the wedding ring and it worked for her.

I didn't wanna get by on intimidations cuz the point really is to do the quests.

So I loaded up the save the way I was going to complete it, got the goat quest done, went to Whiterun and made a new save to test it out again. Ysolda could be intimidated and it counted.

I thought it may have been a level thing or required number of them to count, but it was the farmer at that village that didn't register.


So, unless it's actually a level thing (which is shouldn't be at all, the point is to be high enough to succeed in those anyways, so it should count), it's a bug.

Bugs I have so far: (these are PRE 1.2 patch and 1.2 didn't fix any of them)

1. Investigated the Bards College is still in my quest log even though I finished it and it still leads to the NPC I spoke with to finish it if I activate it.

2, Found all the instruments for the bards College students AFTER they gave me the quest only to have them in my inventory still and I cant drop or sell them.

3. Letrush multiplying glitch. This is were you help a NPC named Letrush (can't remember his first name) and if you do the quest in his favor, he will shortly appear outside Whiterun stables with 2-4 versions of himself...it is kind of funny at first lol, but I'm past the funniness.

4. Obvious texture loading issues if downloaded to the HDD....that's a no brainer everyone (360 only) had that pre-patch 1.2.

5. Dragons occasionally not giving me there souls, and the body wouldn't disintegrate.

6. I read the book the legend of red Eagle, finished the quest completely, obtained the sword's blah blah blah only to accidentally read it again and it gave me the quest again. I travel to the map marker, only to have it disappear from the map and compass once I arrive there. I can't do the quest a second time I'm guessing so must be a glitch.

7. Followers don't level properly, or randomly fall from the sky, as well as the dogs, and mammoths falling from the sky. Also if a follower is killed in a dungeon there is a GREAT chance they will eventually end up in your house in whiterun a few hours later with your house carl Lydia this seems to happen the most. Dead of course. This also happens with Skjor? (think that's the right name) from the Companions when he meets his demise he appears dead at the companions hall.

Now here are my POST 1.2 patch bugs:

1. Obvious Magic Resistance/Weakness is broke

2. Dragons behave awkwardly and at random: Flying in place, backwards, etc.

3. Still have all of the previous pre-patch broken quest.

4. I now have worse texture issues while playing FROM THE DISC, as opposed to it was just when I installed it before. Now that's a feat for a patch, when the texture streaming issues actually got worse and now its while playing from the disc. Also when I get near a glitching flying dragon frame rate drops to about 10 FPS, and i have to move a ways away before the FPS go back up.

5. I just got another broken quest about 20 minutes ago, I can't finish the Leifnarr quest because his family won't initiate the proper dialog and yes I found his body before speaking with them.

6. Dragons went from occasionally not giving me their souls and disintegrating, to now where they hardly ever give me their soul. About 1 out of every 4 dragons give's me a soul.

7. "Speak to Verulus about the hall of the dead" Won't leave my quest log, even though I finished it already, and yeah the a quest marker still appears:(

EDIT 5:16 am forgot one more:
8. For some reason after the 1.2 patch, stormcloak guards now attack me at completely random, out of no-were times. Just walking out in the wild and now all of a sudden at completely random times they attack me. Also If I run into a band of them fighting imperials and help them fight the imperials, I get a fine payable to white run, these are ALL NEW to 1.2, NEVER happened before this patch. Thing is...I'AM A STORM CLOAK I SIDED WITH THEM WTF? Like I said NEVER happened before this newest patch.


Bethesda I hope you actually look at all these bugs we are reporting, Most of them are the same thing for everyone. I get it, the games huge its gonna have bugs......or at least that's what I and many others keep convincing our self's of and have excepted the fact that since oblivion your game engine svcks with no Q&A what so ever, and that its not your fault :rolleyes: .....but if quest keep breaking we won't have anything to do but wait until you fix all of them.

House of Horrors Bug 360.....

At the end you are placed in a Cage by an Altar with a Rusty Mace.

The options I was given did not allow me out of the cage.

Game became very slow and kept looping into the dialog with only 3 choices of which I could not get out of without reloading a previous save.

So you're sure after intimidating the Farmer that your intimidation score went up? I could intimidate him just fine, the game just didn't count it.

Also got to this point, did you kill the dude you cam into the house with? The daedric lord will initiate a quest after you've selected a dialogue option.

After completing the quest to travel to Yngvild and recover Arondils journals for Vekel The Man in the Ragged Flaggon in Riften, I travel back to him to close the quest out. All dialog options appear fine and the quest completes but I never actually get the reward or have the journals removed from my inventory. Even though he says "heres your reward" and states hes sold the journals on.

I googled this and have found a few people having the same issue with no work around.

This same thing also happens with the miscellaneous quest in Solitude where you have to give Roggvir's Amulet of Talos to Greta. The amulet stays in my inventory and i dont recieve the reward when she says "heres something for your trouble". Im also not prompted to say the task is complete

I see this mentioned in this thread already, but for clarification...

Items: FINN'S LUTE
1. You do not need to be a member of the Bard's College to find Finn's Lute in Stony Creek Cave.
2. You can return it to Solitude and speak with Inge Six Fingers.
3. You can receive the reward (all Stealth skills +1)
3. However, whether a member of the College or not, the lute remains in your inventory, weight 4, unable to remove or sell.

As well as here, this bug is noted on the proper http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Finn%27s_Lute page.
Not one person wants a completed quest item in their inventory using up 4 weight points. Not...one.

Post 1.2 patch

Markarth: Markarth guards will not allow me to submit and go to jail or pay the fine. They just want to kill me all the time, so any activity in Markarth is difficult

Peter Pan in Dawnstar: One occurrence after a dragon battle where a women who had fallen into the inlet in Dawnstar was swimming in mid-air...
