FYI thats not a glitch.
Thats the way that quest is supposed to end.
Next time try and read that' some dialogue' before complaining about something being a glitch.

well if he can't remove them, that's a glitch. I was able to sell mine.

I hope this gets addressed with the "stability" fix but out in the wilds sometimes the textures (dirt/leaves/twigs) on the ground do not load until you stand still for a couple of seconds.

Some of my furniture is now gone along with the stored items.

My wife constantly spams the dialogue window even when I dont approach her, and when I close it it opens right back up causing me to pretty much be stuck at the door.

My game recently glitched as I was talking to Delphine about the quest where you sneak into that party , as I was about to end the conversation a dragon attacked ending the conversion and then leaving my character paralysed unable to move , jump , withdraw my weapons or open the menu all I can do is pause and go into the quest menu and fast travel but still no movement. I have restarted the game and xbox and reloaded my saves but my character is always in the same status unable to do anything???

I'm beginning to notice that at night in the cities buildings, mostly the public ones like shops, wont get locked at night at the owners stay downstairs... really strange...
Also I have a quest to retrieve the Incovations of Azura in the caves of the Glenmoril Witches.. problem is: Te chest the quest points to is empty since I already cleared the cave and I even have two copies of the book in the inventory but I can't give them to the Orc of the college and they're a quest item so I can't remove them..
Hope it'll geg fixed someday!

Daedric quest Boethiah's Calling is bugged. Follower won't touch the Pillar of Sacrifice when instructed to do so. Cannot sacrifice any follower at all.

GRAPHICAL:

Sometimes while exploring outdoors, mostly near the termal waters area, the waterfalls will stand still with no animation like a piece of blue mass until you aporach a lot to it, but ive seen them static in many other areas (patch 1.2)

Not really a bug but isn't it strange how the werewolf Blood-Lust Gauge and even more so an Air Gauge while swimming doesn't appear? It's so stupid that you have to guess how much lust/air you have left. I would like those added in but i guess those are more wanted features than bugs.

Also, I ran through Alfthand (Dwemer ruins)completing a part of the main quest line and cleared the dungeon out. Now I have a permanent graphic of steam (not frost) spurting out of my entire body. All directions. As if I'm a moving Dwemer steam engine. Exiting to Dashboard didn't resolve the issue.

After reading the elder scroll (that I picked up at Alfthand, which reveals up the origin of the bug) at the required location, my steam-visual graphic bug was resolved! :sb:

Two follower bugs:

1. Followers almost always use their default (starting) bow in combat, regardless of what bow the player gives to them. Essentially nerfs all archery followers.

2. Illia, the Imperial mage from the Darklight Tower quest, will not follow the player after being dismissed for any reason. She just won't open dialogue with the player. Tried to fix using console commands ON PC (NA to xbox), however this only works until the player saves and loads the game. EDIT: My Illia is a member of the Blades, can anyone confirm this problem with an Illia NOT in the Blades?

Followers:

I lost Farkas somewhere in Saarthal during the college's quest. he then suddenly spawned near the Eye of Magnus in the college dead and in an... unusual position. I could loot him, but the game doesn't register him as dead as I still can't recruit a new follower. very annoying.

So youd rather keep backward dragons and resistance issues to get some quest fixes in?

Dont remember them ever endorsing reversion to 1.1, and the patch is soon, just because its not as fast as youd like it to be doesnt make it less so, Id rather have as many fixes as possible with the month till next update than a band aid of several fixes just to please a handful of people that feel the need for the fix 'now' as opposed to later that could be a better fix for it. Quest issues arent going to be an easy fix since not everyone runs into the same issues they have to figure out why its not working right for some yet works for others. Intermittent issues arent easy to solve or pinpoint the cause.

Hi, I was redirected here by the Bethesda Softworks tech support, who were actually very helpful.

Here is the issue I'm having -

I'm having a glitch/bug issue in which I am stuck in a tomb/dungeon and cannot get out due to a glitch/bug. The mission is "Tending the Flames", where the player must go to a tomb/dungeon called "Dead Man's respite", where the player must retrieve a book for the Bard College. The glitch/bug happens at the puzzle door, for which the combination is "Wolf-Eagle-Wolf", as is seen on the Ruby Dragon key used for the door. For some reason, the combination doesn't work, and the door will not open, regardless of any combination. I cannot leave this area either, since the player jumps down a well to get to this area with the puzzle door. I am hoping a patch will be released for this issue sometime soon, or there is another way to get out of this area, so I may continue my gaming experience.

Thank you all for your time.

I'm having an issue with getting the Companions Side-Quest "Striking the Heart" to complete, it's bugged and cannot be completed and thus I can't start the next quest in the Companions Quest Chain. I made a forum post about it here if you want more info( http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1311113-striking-the-heart-quest-glitch/ ) but it could be handy to add to the list here.

Happened in a fight for a word of power against a ghost lord and this is what happened,

Tried using fus roh da but nothing happened when I pressed the button, after a few presses it worked but I started moving around like I was encumbered.
My companion also was moving like she was encumbered. Had to revert to a previous save and not use the shout to sort it out.

I dont know if this has been said yet but there are three major issues I am encountering which prevent me entirely from playing the game. I have a brand new xbox (literally bought it day I got skyrim) and played it for around 8 hours without issue before it started freezing. All other games play flawlessly by the way. The freezings began to increase until it wouldn't even load anymore. Can someone PLEASE address this, my xbox is just sitting because this game wont work.

1. The load screen freezes or it does not load at all
2. The game crashes before it even loads
3. The game freezes or crashes very frequently in gameplay

Thanks

Here's a new bug I'm encountering.
Every time I highlight this sword I got in my Inventory the game freezes up and I have to restart my system. The sword is an Orcish Greatsword of Ice: Target takes 15pts. of frost dmg to health and stam. I got it in Hag's End. It first happened when I was putting stuff away in my weapons chest. Now every time without fail I'll go to it and the game locks up. Inside my house, outside, in a different city, where ever.
Guess I'll just carry it around, and anything else that I pick up that's listed under it till it works itself out or there's a patch. Good thing it was Orcish and not Daedric!

Hi, I did a search for the following bugs I've encountered, but did not see them posted.

1. QUEST-RELATED:

The Black Star (Riften) - Persuade option does not work on Nelacar, even though it's maxed at 100, and I have tried it with an extra +25 in active effects on top of that (Dibella's amulet +15, dibella's blessing +10), and have the appropriate persuasion perks bought.

Blood on the Ice (Windhelm) - Strange amulet cannot be removed from inventory once the quest is complete, even though the dialogue came up when Calixto (& later the wizard) identified it - however, it didn't seem to identify properly in the inventory itself. In my case, I spoke to the woman posting fliers around town before I spoke to Calixto (don't know whether or not this had anything to do with it).

Blood on the Ice (Windhelm) - Calixto's House of Curiosities is locked interminably during the part where you have to ask him to ID the amulet; when the lock is picked, he won't talk to you because you're trespassing.

No One Escapes Cidhna Mine (Markarth) - when siding with Madanach, all quest items that were removed from your inventory upon being thrown in jail do not get returned to your inventory.

2. LOCATIONS THAT WON'T CLEAR (despite associated quests being done, all loot being taken, enemies killed, etc.)

Kolskeggr Mine, Movarth's Lair, Wolfskull Cave

3. NPCs

More Louis Letrush problems (other than what's already listed): upon finishing his quest (peacefully) and getting Frost, he shows up outside the Whiterun Stables and just stands there.

4. MAY OR MAY NOT BE A GLITCH

Dragons seem to attack cities every single fast travel (despite the fact I've barely touched the main storyline), especially Riften & College of Winterhold (almost a 1:1 ratio for those two; on the flipside, I've yet to encounter a dragon attack on the walled cities). I've read there are supposed to be random dragon attacks on the cities, but the frequency with which they happen is annoying.

At the very end of "Darkness Falls", Nocturnal speaks to you. Then you are prompted to talk to Karliah. Every time you try, she just restates "Hello, fellow Nightingale". There is nothing else to activate in the room, and I receive no "this person is busy" messages. Waiting many hours makes no difference.

I have re-loaded various save points, and even played through the quest a second time because the first time through I didn't complete the optional objective (read the journal re: Pilgrims Progress). I was hoping that fulfilling the other objective might make a difference, but nay nay: The related achievement is DENIED!
