Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 7:07 am

I sit on my couch while on my PC, and ive set my HD TV to be my computer monitor. and if i wanna use a controller i just plug an old XBOX controller into a USB drive.

okay, next argument!

So where does the huge keyboard go when your on the couch?.

How does the HDTV work for websites and things like documents?, or do you have one pc for gaming and use a laptop/tab for browsing?.

So funny.

It's great isn't it how people think they need to validate their gaming platform but labelling all other platform as a load of rubbish.

Why can't people just admit that there are advantages to playing the game on pc, but there are just as many advantages to playing on console.

I think my number 1 reason (just ahead of comfort) for consoling it is I just can't be doing with the hassle of playing it on a pc, I would rather saw my arm off than deal with windows any more than I have to, I want to turn my machine on and be playing in the game in seconds, I don't want to have to sit and wait while windows boots up, hell if I switch a machine on to play a game I don't even want to see the OS at all.

I just couldn't be bothered with installing pc games then having to fiddle around with graphics settings to get the best performance from your graphics card, It's a shame there are no affordable pc's that are instant (well close to anyway) on straight to the game affairs. Like you could have a seperate on switch or something for gaming mode, so it loads up the game, gives the game full 100% access to all the computers memory and resources etc but only boots up the bare bones minimum of windows needed to support the running of the game.

Fiddle with stuff? Haven't had to do any fiddling. As far as using a console platform.... nope, not ever going there. Why would I? A computer like mine is a marvel of all-around utility. I'm not about to mess with some other stuff just to play game that my pc will run at ultra settings with no fiddling....

But those who like consoles - fine. I don't have any issue with y'all. You want to play on consoles, that's your choice. But you don't get cool mods.... *shrug*

Haha. I guess there weren't any cheats/mods for older games since they ran on processors older than the Xbox360/PS3, right? Good grief.

Anyway, the reason why you won't have console mode for the Xbox360/PS3 is because MS and Sony wouldn't approve it. It's just that simple.
yes there were cheats on older games, but older games took less processing power and ran on simpilar engines

I never said it was a load of rubbish, you are putting words in my mouth. Ive got both a 360 and PS3 and i enjoy them, all im saying is they dont have anywhere near the processing power of a PC, therefore cannot use all the features a PC version of a game can

Keyboard goes on my lap, and my HDTV works great on websites and documents.

The restoration glitch isnt continuous though, it would just be easier to simply put in like xyab or something off the controller. And the cheese wheels were just an example i know it would probably glitch up or freeze the console.

Yes it is, you make a ton of restoration potions, so when you turn of your game, you can put on all your alchemy enchanted stuff, drink a potion and all your stuff will be up again. From there any potions you make will KEEP THAT VALUE FOR EVER. You can make an enchant potion and use it then enchant something that will stay that way forever. same for fortify smithing etc.
