xbox 360 mod transfer

Post » Fri Apr 01, 2011 3:52 pm

I was wondering if mods made on the computer, for the GECK can be copied onto a flash drive, inserted into the 360 and then downloaded onto the hard drive. Would that work? And if it would, would it damage the game and would it be removable?

I am hoping it would so I can download some cool additions but I had heard there is a transfer program that was made? Im not sure please correct me if I am wrong.

No, you can't. Never. (least you can't discuss this at these forums AFAIK)

Get PC.

Don't know of any such program, but discussion of such things is not allowed. It's against xbox rules or something.

Fallout 3 for the 360 has no way to actually enable any mods you download, right? The DLC is handled through XBL IIRC.

So even if you could get mods onto a 360's HDD, you couldn't actually use them.

So if you want mods (and really, with mods like Lexx's classic Advanced Power Armor, Enclave Commander, and MMM how can you not want mods?), it's PC or bust.

Not to mention it is a violation of the MS EULA to enable user made content on the box....... and therefore, not open for discussion here.

MS doesn't allow user-made content on the XBox/360 - it's considered a security risk. Best bet, unfortunately, is to try and convince them to support this with their next generation console.

Since the thread has been answered I'll lock this. Also, in the future please do not post in all caps.
