If you have Oblivion installed onto your hard drive I'd suggest taking it off. For some strange reason it doesn't agree with it.

I got my xbox 360 elite at release and put my blame on the console being old but once I'd uninstalled it from the hard drive I pretty much had no problem with FPS issues when in the wilderness. Try it and report back.

Actually, that was really eloquent for someone to whom english is not their primary language. Better than the structure of that previous sentence I just wrote. I've been drinking, though. Saturday night, after all. Where are you at in the game? Do you have any of the DLC loaded? I also play exclusively on the 360, but I don't have any noticeable lag. I don't play off a disc, though. I downloaded the full game and all DLC from Xbox Live. It's all on my 320 gb HD. Don't know if that makes a difference or not.

I'm guessing there's some sort of bug with the installing the game onto the hard drive. I seriously haven't a clue why but it's fixable by taking it off. Confirmed by me and many other people.

@Hynafol, awesome! If this doesn't fix it report back here and I'll try and help you further.
