Xbox 360 or PS3?

I own both consoles and I was wondering which one I should use to play Skyrim. Please give your views.

Simply from a hardware point of view ps3 should be able to push better graphics.

i use the PC version but if i had to choose a console, i think it would be based on whether or not they are going to get exclusive DLC first on the xbox like they are doing for fallout 3 new vegas which there is a good chance of happening.

There will probably be less glitches and bugs with the 360 version, I'd go with that.

With Oblivion, PS3 had a slight edge over 360 graphics wise, so that would be my choice.

While Oblivion did have a slight edge in graphical performance and less framerate drop, it also came out after the 360 version. This could have made a difference, it might not have.
I'm personally buying it for the PC and 360. I'm sure that the only real distinguishable difference between 360 and PS3 performance is going to be the way the controllers feel while playing. I personally hate the PS3 controllers. Bsically, wait until there are some reviews, then think which controller you like better, then buy the game for that console.

I'd go for a PS3, because of it's specs. But I'm a PC gamer, and no console guy, so...

Well with PC out of the question I'd go with a PS3, imo most games look better (OB and FO3 and they were from Beth as well) plus I hate Xbox controllers, they're just too chunky...

I am torn. I got Oblivion for the Xbox 360, but for a little bit I was thinking I would get this for the PS3, until I remembered the controller layout for it... I far prefer how the main (left) anolog stick is on the left side of the Xbox 360 controller's face, as opposed to the PS3's being right side the right one at around the center of the bottom of the controller's face.

It may sound rather trivial, but I find comfort important, and I am way more comfortable with moving around the character in a game like that with the Xbox 360 controller with it's layout like that.

I agree, comfort with my controllers are crucial to my experience, I don't want to constantly be taking my attention away from the game and break any sense of immersion so that i have to readjust my hands or rest it. Didn't they come out with a "fat" PS3 controller?

Fat PS3 Controller? Never heard of that before. O.o All I ever heard of that nature was of a Slim PS3/PS3 Slim, whichever part of it came first in it's name, the "PS3" or the "Slim".

But wouldn't that just mean it is bigger or something, not the layout of the controller changed drastically or anything? Of course I just heard of it, so I don't know anything about it for certain, but still.

I would go for Xbox 360 since platform titles typically look better on it (360 is a lot easier to code than the PS3).

It is interesting to hear of it nonetheless, though when I tried to google that, I was just getting Wireless PS3 Controllers, Modded PS3 Controllers, and PS3 Fat Systems. >.> I never did try images, though.
