@SkyForgeSteel, if you're eyesight is "not too good" and you're squnting, you should think about getting glasses or contact lenses. And how can you even play with one hand? Anyways, you said you play CoD Ghosts? You sir, just got ripped-off. I can honestly say it's the worst game I ever played, same map elements and animations from MW2 to MW3. The challenge and point system is complete garbage. There's a reason why it got a rating of 5.9 out of 10 and the only reason why it's got quite a bit of sales is because of CoD fan-boys. Though I'm getting rid of it soon for maybe AC4, I'm just going to get the Trophies for CoD Ghosts in the meantime.

EDIT: And no one is making you buy Xbox One so just stop. Get it for PC if you don't want to buy any one of the Next Gen consoles. But for the love of God, stop complaining, it's making you look like an idiot and a cry baby. So just act you're age, please?

I do have glasses but I don't like wearing them when playing. I also have back problems and cant sit upright for a period of time. I need to lean back. Of course I dont play with one hand. I was just emphasizing the level of comfort. I don't play Ghosts that much. I just play the campaign mode for achievements. I still have the old COD4. Still the best IMO. I only play Skyrim, FIFA, GTA and Battlefield 4 regularly.

Sorry. I'm just too used to playing skyrim and don't want all the hassle of using the PC. I would get the XB1, but its too expensive. Why fix something that is not broken?

If I can use the same PC for Skyrim and ESO, then what?

Meaningless with Pc's. They aren't bound by their hardware, They can -with the exception of laptops- be upgraded to compete with current tech.

A console cannot. The 360 and Ps3 were only the equivilent of a mid range Pc when they released and they've gone backwards since. All being able to play Skyrim and ESO on your Pc would say is that you have a good PC.

@SkyForgeSteel, what do you mean "then what"? You'd be able to play ESO and is that the whole point of you're thread almost, to play ESO on Xbox 360 though? Boy, I don't even know what you're saying. I'm just probably not coming back to this thread because I feel like I have the risk of becoming Brain-Dead here....

It isn't broken. It is outdated. The battles for Cyrodiil are going to have a [current] maximum of 200 players on screen at once. If there are trebuchets throwing boulders, defenders dumping boiling oil, AOE magic going off, archers, and mages the former consoles would end up being a slideshow.

That means you have a pc that is able to run the games. Depending on your pc, you might be able to run ESO, but checking when they announce the requirements would be a good idea regardless.

Ok. so you're saying that A normal cant PC can handle all of that? I now have to buy a new one. Oh boy. I think I'll just stick to Skyrim. I still have yet to play Dragonborn which means that I'm not entirely done with Skyrim, so we'll see.

But let me ask you this. Do you think in your opinion that ESO will truely top Skyrim? Not by sales, but just in general.

No Talaran is saying that you 'could' be able to run ESO on a pc that can run SKyrim. It's not a gaurentee. Hence you check the minimum/recommended requirements when they are announced.

As far sales, ESO isn't intended to top SKyrim. It's not part of the main series. But considering the attention is getting, it still should do as well.

Well a lot people see it as a "sequel to" or the "multiplayer" of Skyrim and which it doesnt have. You know the mentality of gamers these days. they want modern warefare style games that have both the main campaign and and endless fighting multiplayer mode. (not me though).

A normal pc will likely be able to handle it, however if you still have your mid range pc from 2005 that was/is comparable to the xbox 360

then that same pc would be considered a very low end pc now.

But fear not, the good thing about pcs is that you can easily upgrade it for low costs instead of having to buy a completely new one!

8gb of ram for example will be extremely helpful in AvA, then get a good mid range graphics card for 150 to 200$ and you are all set.

Depends on the "normal" pc. They have to have a cut-off point for systems that will run the game. There are many people on this board who can help with building a new pc that will be capable of running a lot of games for about the price of an xbox one. Added bonus it can do more than play games. Possibly upgrading the pc you have, if you have one, might be cheaper. You'd have to ask.

I have no idea whether this will be a better seller than Skyrim. There are a lot of people who play single player games that won't look twice at ESO. There are people who want open world pvp who aren't going to look at this game twice. It is going to depend on whether the people who are willing to give the game a chance like it or not. They don't need billions of subscribers to be profitable.

I'm sure that I am not the only one that is frustrated with all of this. I'm not ranting out of hatred. I'm ranting out of love for the elder scrolls games that I've come to enjoy. If I truly hated ESO, i would not even bother mentioning it.

to be honest with you, it sadly is only marginally better then the 360 classic from what I can tell the only real difference between those is the graphics card which has received a minimal upgrade.

Then those people who see it that way are wrong, it is quite different to Skrim, more similar to OBlivion and Morrowind than anything else

And yeah, this rant means nothing, considering the Xbox one is basically trash compared to a good computer, the Xbox 360 would not be able to play ESO what so ever.

I see quality in detail and open world enviornments with freedom choose. Skyrim opened my eyes to another world. It was Epic. Its still epic after 2 years.

I do agree with you on the xbox one. I mean how much of an upgrade can it be from the Kinect? Not a lot im betting. I have a decent Laptop. Not the best, but I'll give you a link to it.

I'm not the techiest dude out here lol.

ESO is not going to have THAT much of an open world much will depend on level, and while there will be choices, they will have little impact on the world besides possibly some story only you can see. It is not going to be anywhere near as open as Skyrim thanks to be an MMO. You will likely not be able to just ignore quests (Besides possibly the faction related quests, but that depends on what skill end up being really good) and the MQ will almost definitely be required.
