Xbox 360 rant

Post » Sun Jan 05, 2014 9:51 am

Why isn't ESO on the 360? do they not know how MANY people own an xbox 360? they're losing a huge audience. Is it a maketing ploy to get more people to by Xbox One?

Bethesda, no offense, but you guys screwed this one up. I LOVED Skyrim on the 360, but I'm not paying 600 bucks for a 60 dollar game.

PC here I come.

Let me know if I am wrong. Dont let me make a fool out of myself even more, because I am already doing enough as it is. :D

Because they're going with next gen, the xbox one and ps4 are very similar to the PC, so that enables then to make only a few changes for the console versions.

I dont care about the damn screen quality and how many pixels. I'm pretty sure xbox 360 can handle it. damn it.

And to be honest, I cant sit infornt of a PC all day playing video games. My couch is too comfy. Dont even mention the surround sound and 50 inch flat screen.

Because the 360 and Ps3 are pretty much obselete now. They've been replaced. They've reached the end of their lifespan.

If this had been more like Skyrim, ie: Single player focus, little or no multiplayer, a cross gren release would have made sense.

But an MMO is intended to last for years long after the 360 and PS3 have become old systems like other systems before them

Why do you care so much that ESO is not for Xbox 360 yet you said you're getting it for PC? Either way it seems you're getting the game and that's what Bethesda, including all companies, want - you're money so they can either tweak and update the game later on or have the money to create a new game. So at this point, I have no clue what you're saying and trying to get at.

Second damn topic of yours that I read in 5 minutes that makes me cringe, it's because the XBOX 360 (AND the PS3) are inferior systems and they simply cannot handle what the 'next-gen consoles' are handling.

Also, you need Talos.

Don't worry, I have some inside information that says some very crafty folks are working on a Super Nintendo version that we're going to be able to play on a private server. ;)

I do care for ESO. I am a huge fan of Skyrim so I gotta play ESO too. But PC is not my first choice. I'm not an hardcoe "Underground" gamer. More recreational if anything.

So this is gonna svck monkey [beep].

What do they need my money for? Do you know How much Bethesda made out of Skyrim for the 360? Millions of games sold = billions of dollars. I'm paying them 60 bucks!!! Here

just take it. please make it for 360, by Ysmir!

Is it just me that thinks SkyForgeSteel is ranting on about crap he has no clue about?

@SkyForgeSteel, are you serious about the question with WHY Bethesda needs the money? If you are, here's why - if they get money from selling a product, which is in this case Skyrim, they use the money to make a new games, ESO in this case, or maybe more than one. It's called Marketing. Skyrim sold over 20 Million copes for $60 each so if you do 20,000,000 x 60, you should get $1.2 Billion, if my Math is right. But back when I brought up Marketing, I'm sure some of the sales money goes to the seller, like GameStop, so they can buy more games and sell them for a higher price to make a profit. I'm getting too into this so hopefully you get the gist of it.

P.S. Feel free to correct something I just said that may be wrong so SkyForgeSteel gets the concept.

The last thing ZOS needs is another platform to develop for and support.

And by the time ESO is available for the XBOX1 you'll probably own one anyway or you won't care because you already played it on your PC.

read my previous posts. its not convenient for me, especially when you're my age. My eyesight is not too good and squinting over a laptop is not how I want to play a damn video game. I want a beer in one hand and a CONTROLLER in the other like every other damn game I play!

If it comes to getting it for PC, then I must. because I am a huge TES fan and I would miss it for the world.

Cool it guys, cut out the spam - not that this topic started very well - I am here all day and will be checking back.

If you want to play ESO you have a choice of PC, XB1and PS4, otherwise you can't.
