I know there are probably gonna be really biased answers but... I just got my preordered version of Crysis 2 for my PC. Now it seems like a lot of my friends are saying their gonna get it for the 360. Is there really a big difference? Are 360 graphics really more inferior? Another reason for xbox... my new 5.1 surround system for my 42"LCD. HELP!

The 360's textures are noticeably less detailed, and framerates do suffer.

This game is optimized for a Xbox, If you are a veteran PC gamer I would urge you to procure the Xbox version as the game's mechanics lends itself better to a console orientation. It's like the old saying, a chain is only as strong as the weakest link. Ports (games taken from PC to console etc.) are only as good as they are allowed to be by Xbox hardware which is inferior to constantly-changing PC hardware. Thus the game's mechanics itself will suffer and certain aspects PC gamers are fond of (Prone, well-integrated menus and UI etc.) are absent in Crysis II. This game feels and looks like a try-to-be blockbuster console title.

I am a devout PC gamer and it is my opinion Crysis 2 is best played on the Xbox.

The in game videos arebsome of the worse I've ever seen visually for 360 gears 3 and arkham city take the cake. Gameplay wise it's the best fps!

It plays well on a PC with a gamepad too.

It looks good at 1080p on highest setting (if your PC can handle that). I'm playing it on a 60 inch plasma. The only thing that worries me about the PC version is support (I think they will support the PC version since the first game was PC only) and cheating in multiplayer. Multiplayer cheating has drove me to buy a lot of my games on 360 (sometimes ps3) instead of PC...

BTW I'm not as impressed with the graphics as I had hoped, but I bet if they release a DX11 patch that will change.

How can you compare it to games that aren't even out yet? LOL, major mis-comparison there.

I want GOW3 to be great as well but I refuse to compare it anything else until I get my hands on the final retail build, not even the beta.

Me and my friend are simultaneously playing it on pc and 360 next to each other on 1080p screens and I can tell the pc is a little bit better graphic wise. We realized 360 doesn't have dynamic shadows with some lights and stuff but not a huuge difference. I like pc more but If I were you I would wait till they patch it with dx11 support because it's on dx9 like wtf!? **** you EA!!

umm... it's not best for xbox360...
think of all the pc gamers waiting for this game to come out.. A HELL OF A lot more than xbox 360
anyways there are many games coming out for these consoles and the game that i've heard pc gamers are gonna get is crysis 2. now xbox360 gamers keep on talking about homefront and all that other crap
now i might be wrong but i'm just sayin what i heard.

when you look at it logically DON'T DO IT FOR GRAPHICS and all that other crap because what matters most when playing a game is to have company around you wether it's friends or strangers because you never know that this stragers might one day become your friends.
