Even the Intel crapchips will play vanilla Morrowind these days.....but unless you have a true video card graphics mods are out of the question.

My computer broke a while back, and it could run Morrowind without an installed graphics card. It's 10 years old now, anything that old would run fine :)

You have an Ati Mobility Radeon hd 4250.Yes,you can play vanilla morrowind but forget about any visual mods.

Seriously? I have an ATI radeon 3650 HD integrated chip, and I play heavily modded. Runs like a dream.

You'll be fine with mods too :)

If I could plug a controller into a USB port and play on my laptop... I would so do that with Morrowind. Only gaming device I have and play now is a 360, never played a game on PC in my life. I remember playing Morrowind a little after it came out (I was like 13) and just messing around with theft and combat.. but not really exploring too much besides taking silt riders(sp?) to cities or taking the game/lore seriously. I've gotten really interested since I put 200+ hours into both Oblivion and Skyrim. I really want to go back to Morrowind and actually play it.. and I think playing on PC and getting some mod(s) to update the graphics would be the best way to go.

Meh. One of these days.

There is no way to get that nostalgic feeling other than booting up the orginal xbox and playing morrowind.
I still have a PS1 and N64.
And a SNES for that matter.

Maybe I'm wrong. I always assumed that as the card numbers increased they either added stuff in, or improved them even slightly, but I just researched the cards and you're right. I feel stupid right now LOL.
