On Xbox 360, will Brink online require a old membership?

Just wondering, my 3-month membership runs out pretty soon.

P.S. It's GOLD not old... woops

The whole purpose of buying a Gold membership is so you have the privilege to actually play online games on the 360 correct? So why you would think a single game would change that is beyond me...

P.S
Sorry if I come off a little rude, or if I am incorrect in some way. I do own an Xbox, but I don't use it very often so I'm unsure if they allow some games to be played online for free...

1.
Mass Effect - Xbox 360
The best RPGs are played alone.
2.
Dead Rising - Xbox 360
On your own in a zombie-filled mall. Otis doesn't count.
3.
BioShock - Xbox 360
Explore the mysteries of Rapture without any help.
4.
Pac-Man Championship Edition - Xbox 360
The best Pac-Man ever is also the most solitary one.
5.
Prototype - Xbox 360
You're mutated, and everyone's against you.
6.
Dead Space - Xbox 360
Your trip through the Ishimura is scary and solitary

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think these are all SP only games.

Oh, he must have worded it wrong. Okay then. Yeah, you have to pay to play online period because its linked to your live account.
If you're like me, though, and play PC... :D

That svcks :(... Just maybe thought it would increase Brink's popularity if it's online was free... probably the best thing 'bout PSN is that it's free....

Oh and to xDIGITAlxDEATH, I understand that there is no game online that's free that i can name, but I was hoping that Brink would be the first... and it's really gay 'cause my 3-month expires on the 7th of May, just a few days before Brink's release...
