Are you trying to use the keyboard and the controller? Use one or the other, or get a mod that allows Hotkeys with the controller.

As for fixing this, try setting things to defaults in the control menu.

There's a few apps on the nexus for xbox controller settings.

you can add a bunch of new hotkeys as well, using mulitple bindings

Try this:

Occasionally use the 360 controller while playing then when you need to switch to the keyboard, just pull out the battery pack of the controller to disable it...skyrim will automatically switch over control to keyboard and mouse.

When your are done, you can just turn the controller back on. This is a temporary fix.

-------------

Try that too: Use both Xbox 360 controller AND Keyboard SIMULTANEOUSLY

I am only trying to use controller like on console, problem is not that i need more hotkeys, its that menu buttons dont work right after i resign combat ones, as A dont select stuff no more but it sas it does. and i have set setings to defaoult, they go back to proper menu buttons but as soon as i change them for combat they go out of wack again.

If you want more hotkeys there are plenty of configs on nexus that allows upto 8 hotkeys plus some other keyboard shortcuts or make one yourself its pretty simple you can try downloading a sample file from nexus and start changing config to your liking
