I picked it up in my local supermarket last week - first time I've ever read it. I don't even own an X-Box - although my son does, so I figured I could at least pass on the mag after I'd had a read.

To be honest, I thought the magazine was really poor. The quality of writing, the magazine layout, the total lack of anything concrete - it all screamed 'money grab'. The article on Skyrim was Ok I guess, but there was nothing new in it at all, and it wasn't even as well written as some of the stuff you can find online.

I won't be making that mistake again

It should just come with an XBL subscription.They do videos on the dashboard for games they feature,so my guess is there will be one there soon.

From what I remember there's one picture of that dragon on a pillar from a different angle (from the front and beneath) which I hadn't seen before.

I'm not sure if it's new, but there was also a screenie of a town with someone who looked like a judge, a Redguard with a dog and a Blacksmith.

Its always that expensive, which is why I never buy it. I did, however have a quick browse in the shop. Nothing particularly new, but some good general info and some nice screenshots a couple of which I hadnt seen before (but I think have been in other magazines)

OXM, I bought it and all it is a 11 page insight on Skyrim, then it goes onto a interview with Bruce Nesmith and Todd Howard, and a tiny bit with Matthew Carofano, but no real new information... Bits about how the team now has 8 dungeon designers... OXM also has online stuff, with a podcast of a interview with Todd Howard, a article on Building Better Worlds, where Bethesda talks world design.. A OXM report with an exclusive interview on Inside Xbox; and a History of the Elder Scrolls...

Wow, that price is insane. Are the pages made of gold over there?!

OXM with a demo disc is $9.99 here in the states... quite a rip off unless you subscribe ($24.99 a year I think).

We have TV and the internet its seems silly to get news from print.

And your point is? Some people just like having some things in thier hands. All I can say is all this internet stuff is not all that cut up to be. Yeah I guess I am an old fart. Having a paper magazine in my own hands
and smelling the newness of the pages, is something an I-Pad or what ever digital ready you use, can never compete with. Sorry I don't like reading from Star Trek data pads all the time. It doesn't take that much
effort to turn a page you know. :wink_smile:

I haven't heard it, but I'm guessing it'll likely be a similar podcast to GI, you can get it from iTunes.. :spotted owl:

Unsure. However, they've just uploaded this weeks OXM UK report onto Xbox Live.

New interview with Todd, no new info really, though I'd say that the 2nd screenshot is fresh. Dirt pathway between some rock formations, heading off into a pine forest.

In the OXM magazine it mentions a podcast with behind the scenes info from Todd Howard. Is this video what the mag is talking about or is there another audio podcast with behind the scenes info somewhere.

apologies if someone else has already posted this but new (or at least I think new) screenshots in OXM UK :

a large spread of a nord warrior charging toward a HUGE spider (the size of shelob from LOTR movies if the nord warrior is the size of frodo) wielding a large two handed axe.
a dragon perched on some stone ruins but looking up at it from the base of the ruins
