Hey guys what did you guys think of the reveal of Xbox One? I wanted to post this thread here because I wanted to know what all the PlayStation users thoughts on the matter?

Did you think the reveal was better than the PS4?

The big battle between Xbox One Vs PS4 continues!

Crytek announced support of course for the new consoles!

No backward compatibility so no Crysis 3 on the next gen consoles

Both systems have similar specs apart from Xbox One custom made GPU and PS4 DDR5 RAM, any comments on game ports?

Crytek just released info that they're coming out with an exclusive game for Xbox One called "Ryse", some first person Roman combat game. http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/05/22/ryse-returns-for-xbox-one

Otherwise I feel like Microsoft really screwed up on trying to get Gamer's attention.

The reveal event of Xbox One was quite awful. TV TV TV TV! Kinect! Halo TV! Sports! TV! Experience! TV! CoD Ghosts! TV! Microsoft likes TV too much. 15 exclusives and (only) eight new IPs saved the event from total disappointment though.

PS4 has a nice idea with split-screen but it isn't more interesting than Xbox One. I seriously hope though that neither of them will be againts used copies (and One is rumoured to be agants it). But I didn't hear a single interesting game from Sony.

You guys know they are saving the best for E3 right? its an Console reveal only.

Xbox one kinda svck, Mainly about TV and kinect, which dont I really care about. Preowned game fee, only show cinematic, no actually gameplay. Voice control is not that advanced. Go to the Angry Joe youtube channel, and see his xbox one rant. Why did they call it Xbox one? Crappy name. But maybe they'll reveal the big guns at E3

im going to have to take the ps4 over that VCR

i think if ps4 doesn't block 2nd hand games and look sixy then i think ps4 might just be ahead.

im guessing sins they only said 8gb ram for the xbox1 it will be the lower ddr3 like people said in less they bump it to ddr5 for E3 im not into tv all that much so that why id stick with the ps4 its a gamers consoles not a tv guide but that just MO.

but i do agree with what you said and i was all so thinking about getting the xbox1 if they make a slim or SS down the line with a few good games.to buy both in one go would be bit over top, im guessing the pricing will be close to ￡400+ per consoles then the games on top around ￡50/60 per game.

I'm going for PS4, because I just want to play games.TV on console is not interesting for me. Poor design. Nice controller. The first impressions of lot of people is: seems like xbox one is made just for people from USA...
But I'll wait for E3, maybe they change my mind.

I think a lot of mindless fanboys will buy this just because it's another XBOX, I bought an XBOX and a PS2 but I loved HALO and XBOX games so much that I didn't play PS2 much but when PS3 came out I've always liked it more and used it more mainly because I got sick of paying to play online and I played a lot of Crysis 2 and MOW 2 online. When Android first came out iOS was still better but now that Android has evolved I feel that it is better and faster. It is best to monitor what is coming out and make your decision based on who has the best overall experience which involves mainly aesthetics,power, pricing, and speed when concerning game consoles. The XBOX One looks like it was built for everyone and not the gamer, I am not a heard of sheep, I am a gamer, an individual, from my point of view Microsoft is killing off the hardcoe gamer and just going after mass appeal, we supported them when they got started and now look what they're doing! PS4 has hardcoe gamer written all over it, **** voice control and motion ****, are you really gonna use that at 2am when everyone is alseep? No. XBOX is all about more and more gimmicks that you have to pay for while PS4 is all about giving you the most power, I'd rather have a better looking, faster game to play than a bunch of stupid gimmicks rolled into one machine, PS4=Gaming Machine, XBOX One=Gimmick Machine.
