Xbox quick switch.... thing!

Hey guys, yes new to the forum and all, love this game!

So! i was backseat gaming (at work) the other day because i play Skyrim on Xbox and my friends are playing on PC and so they had brought their laptops.

I noticed that they we're able to choose numbers in their favorite list for different setups with magicka, weapons etc. and i thought "hey, i wish i could do that too!"

but of course, i have no keyboard to do such a thing with but then i remembered that i have a Chatpad! and so i tried to do the same but without success =(

Now my questions are: have this been brought up to discussion before? has anyone else thought about this? Could it be made a feature for this perhaps?
Or have i been missing out on something completely!?

i'd love some answers and hopefully i won't be kicked in the face for asking, perhaps, a totally idiotic Q =)

There is a quick swap on D-pad. You can only have 2 items, but it's good if you're minimalist. Simply push up to go to favourites menu, then hold either left or right until a number appears. This has now hotkeys the favourite that you've selected. This if for xbox, but i'l assume it works on PS3 too.

But did you see the list of specs to play it on a decent setting? I don't think NASA have computers that powerful....

Meh, plug PC into TV + xbox controller and voila. You can even dl mods for the xbox controller that give more hotkeys/fucntions

My work laptop can run the game on low. You could probably build a computer for 300-400 dollars that would run the game on medium.

My laptop couldn't handle it, and it's actually got good components (for a laptop), plus i prefer it on xbox. I'm not bothered by hotkey'ing, i carry very little.

Never had the chatpad, was happier with my old USB keyboard plugged in the front.
