I have noticed that the 12 man instant action has been running at 7-10 players. The games I get in usually have people just spamming armor, which svcks when you are trying to win the matches. I hate it when the game runs out of time & the leader has 20 kills (It's still usually me) just because everyone wants to spam armor because their fingers aren't fast enough to trigger it on the fly. Oh well, that's not realated anyway.

I saw the rankings the last few days, didn't want to post them here to fan the flames & validate everyone saying the community is dead. There certainly still is a lot of interest in the game, and maybe in the gap between Brink & gears of War some people will venture back to Crysis 2. I think that depends on implementing some sort of customization & reward to keep playing. I've already almost maxxed out the leveling. The 100% completion dog tag looks amazing, but I haven't set a goal on this game since the first re-boot. There just isn't a whole lot to play for.

Also I stopped climbing the leaderboards a month ago, even when I played for like 20 hours straight. Too many cheaters. On the kills leaderboard I have stayed at pretty much the same spot, mid 2500s (this is after several reboots. I got like 4000 kills on this reboot). On the XP I dropped from 199-220 in the past 2 days, and the people that are passing me have less than half the time in their games.

This may partly be because the GOW-3 Beta has taken away from the Crysis-2 players. I know personally that several of my friends that where playing Crysis have been playing the GOW-3 Beta sense it came out including me. I figured with the GOW Beta ending that they would have patched Crysis by now and then I would be interested in the DLC but it doesn't look like it.

Also you do realize those XBOX live numbers only reflect players that are logged into XBOX live and playing a particular game.
They may not be necessarily be playing MP but the campaign instead.

Btw right now there is also huge amount of people playing GOW3 beta, I can safely presume that Gears 3 beta is played more than crysis 2.

In my case, I am just bored of playing multiplayer games, I want more excited singleplayer or coop games. sigh
