XboxLive Skyrim?

Post » Sat Oct 08, 2011 8:13 pm

Hello everybody! I was thinking of buying a 4800msp card for my xbox account before Skyrim is relased.
This would be my first XboxLive game i would have ever downloaded, so do downloaded games eat a [censored]load of memory, and will it preform as well as it would on disc?

Also i know 4800msp will not be enough for Skyrim, but i have around 2000 already so dont mention it when replying.

Wouldn't it be cheaper/better to buy a physical copy at an online retail site?

It eats only out of your hard drive, and it will perform just as well, if not better than on disc, as you would have the game installed onto your console. It's even common to buy the disc, then install it onto the hard drive, because that will speed stuff up. So go for it, there's no reason not to. If anything, there's reasons to do it. Mainly that you'll never have to leave your couch/chair to get it!

They don't usually have it for sale on XBL at first though. Most games have taken a few months to be downloadable on it.
