Yacoby's Time Display problem

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 1:31 pm

When I load a saved game, the AM/PM indicator disappears! Using MGE 3.8.2 SVN 178. How do I fix this problem?

Try in the console:

set YAC_ST_DoUse12Hour to 1
startscript YAC_ST_Load

The thing is already 12 hour by default, I never ever fiddled with the settings.

(show yac_st_douse12hour confirms this)

Regardless, I still did the above in the console and the AM/PM indicator is still invisible.

It will only make itself visible through normal gameplay, or if I do a rest/loiter/sleep. Even then, this is random, sometimes it still doesn't show up.

Wasn't there a limited number of texture slots in MGE or something? Like you could only have x number of textures loaded else they wouldn't work. I seem to remember I ran into that issue before.

I'm not using any texture mods if that's what you're implying. My Morrowind is very lightly modded.

Do you use any other mods that require MGE, and if so which ones? (Or just post your mod list)

Okay, forgive me if I'm dumb but I can't seem to find that feature in Wrye Mash that generates a copy/pastable load list like in Wrye Bash...

... or am I forced to manually type it out?

Wrye's interface ideas are a bit weird. There's no easy way to copy your current load list, but you can go to your saves tab and select a save, then right click the list header for the save game's load list (under the preview picture) and there's your copy list option.

Ok Yacoby, thanks. It would be great if you could figure it out, whenever that may be.

I have one more problem though. How do I get the Time Display to ask the user about the screen resolution, like when the mod is run for the first time? I started the game with 1024 x 768, now I switched to 1920 x 1200, but the old clock position is stuck at where it was before.

I even tried doing a "clean save" by removing the mod, saving, reloading the saved game, saving again, THEN finally re-add the mod. The resolution query still doesn't show up.

You might be interested in the http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=26348 I made for MGE XE. Most of them are cross compatible with MGE 3.8.2, including Time Display. They automatically detect resolution without asking, and don't save the resolution to the save game, which may be what you're experiencing.
