I need yao guai meat in order to cook yao guai roast (makes melee damage extremely OP). If anyone knows any spawn locations or remember seeing yao guai in areas then it would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try Rocky Narrows Park east of ArcJet Systems. I encountered 2 Yaos There at once. It may be a permanent spawn, because there's even a sign that asks "Don't feed the bears"

Super mutans keep all sorts of meats in their bloodsacs and always seem to have tons of ammo too.

Yao Gaui seem to be less abundant in FO4 than they were in FO3 .

Though I've at best only covered 1/3 of the map in general.

Seems so far the best source of that meat is off random trades or stumbling across super mutant blood sack stashes.

A pack of them attacked my Drive-In settlement.

I had a pack of ghouls. Was pretty cool looked like the zombies were coming. they started far off and slowly shambled over until i opened fire and they started running at me.
