all i used was a baseball bat my charatcers level was 8 and my best weapon was teh baseball bat at 25% condition

i was killling people wearing plate armour wit harmoured gasmask in less than 3 hits only reason i took over for 10 mins was cuz i got bored of 1 hitting elder lyons upside the head every time he tried to get back up and i eventually relaoded my save prior to the rampage :/

what does the pistol "smugglers end" do that the base verson doesn't picked it off of my 2nd kill

But you're right, OP. Those Brotherhood fools are pathetic... the ones in the Citadel, anyway. You could kill those guys with a lead pipe.

Actually a lead pipe does more damage than a Baseball Bat (more damge, damage per second, critical damage) -_-

And the OP says he defeat them with a baseball bat. So you you can take of the Citadel with a baseball bat, then a lead pipe should be even easier

I wasn't really speaking in terms of game mechanics. I didn't even remember that Lead Pipe was a weapon in the game. Subconsiouslly I might have known, hence the mention of it, but I assumed it'd be weaker.

For the record, I kind of figured you weren't talking about the actual in game Lead Pipe, it's just an expression. I was just joking around a little, I felt it was a good opportunity since there really is an in game lead pipe weapon. (that's why there are smileys in my post).

And yeah, it's stupid how weak these guys. Seriously, Bethesda, they're powered armoured juggernauts! I distinctly remember a group of about 10 Paladins charging me -- 4 seconds of Vengeance (on Hard difficulty), they're all down.
