In 3-5 businnes days i will get fallout 1 + 2, i dont really care about tactics. Got any tips for me or what to expect? I bought them because i wanna know the whole story of Fallout.

I got it when Interplay had just released them on their site. Good games. Took a long time too.

I think they were merely commenting on the absurdly high price being asked for postage, not stating they'd paid that much!

just something you may want to know if your knew to PC gaming, the patches come in RAR format, so unless you got a way to deal with this it may be a real head ache. The high res mods don't so those arent too much trouble, don't know about other mods though.

Personally, I just opted to install the high res mods, and use whatever patch version they had out of the box. No idea weather or not I'm good to go yet though, seeing has I'm only half way through the manual. It's llike a novel...haha

What is a headache about rar format? It's a simple compression tool which has been around for ages and the software to unrar something can be downloaded for free at the winrar website.

I'm not entirely sure what happened, but I know that for me atleast the second I finished download unRAR from winrar my computer crashed and I had to revert it back to the way it was the day I bought making me have to reset pics, passwords, AV software, music, everything. Maybe it was a rare case, but I've decided I personally won't be having anything to do with anything involving RAR of any kind.

Not sure what happened but I'm calling "user error" on this. I've been using WinRar since it's invention with no problem.

Sounds like you fail at Windows.

It sounds harsh, but I can't imagine what you did to get that to happen. Perhaps you downloaded winRAR from a fake site and it was actually something malicious. I guess I can imagine what you did after all!

Just download http://www.7-zip.org/. It opens just about any archive format you could encounter.

This is where I got 'em recently. Very good site. No copy protection either. Also it seems the patches are pre-installed as well, I'm pretty sure on Fallout the version was 1.2 if I am not mistaken.
