I had it in my inventory and i gave it to Boone with no ammo, so i could pick up more stuff, now when i fast traveled back to my suite, its not in Boons inventory, i checked everywhere in the place i gave it to him, I need help, is it gone forever?

I've personally never had this happen but I've read a lot of posts about it-- people lossing uniques on companions. Gone for good unless you are on PC and player.additem it.
