If I reach 100 in destruction and whatever levitatuion is in(if its in), I want to blast beams of death on petty villagers.

So yes with time and effort. Eventually.

*smirk* "Power Pole"

It's GOD-LIKE :hubbahubba:

But yes, let the player be able to put a lot of effort in to become a god like character, and if you don't like that, then heres an idea, don't raise all your skills.

The extent of being god-like should be better defined.
Is the PC supposed to be superior to any other "common" NPC in a duel? Yes, I guess, otherwise there would be no need for a dragonborn.
Is he supposed to be superior to other heroic or even divine beings? I'd tend towards no, especially against the latter - though there should be a slight chance for success.
Is he able to wipe out whole armies at will? No, this goes too far.

TES shouldn't revolve around the player's character. There ought to always be challenges you cannot possibly master. Despite being a contradiction this would also be what would keep my character at striving to get better. What's the point of getting more powerful, otherwise?

I like the idea of growing stronger and going back to wreak revenge on enemies that were a lot more difficult as a level 1 character. (Similar to the cazadores in New Vegas.)

If there is no challenge, however, the game becomes boring. There needs to be more challenging enemies at higher levels, powerful enemy spellcasters who wield magic intelligently, dragons that are almost impossible to beat, etc. When I hear "God-like" I imagine a game that becomes boring at higher levels, when it is supposed to become the most exciting.

I would like to have a chance to defeat everyone, but also to have a reasonable chance of being defeated.

It would be pretty disgraceful for Fallout to have spears/javelins but for Skyrim to not have them.

Polearms/ spears are a MUST, definitely! It would be rediculous if they weren't in.
