Yet to be explained/revealed

Post » Wed Mar 09, 2011 10:51 am

Very little has been revealed about Skyrim so far. And when thinking about every thing that was in oblivion I easily become overwhelmed with what has yet to be confirmed.

1: Enemies/Creatures
- Other than a small number of creatures like giants and wolfs.

2: Lock Picking Mechanics
- Absolutely nothing about this so far if I recall correctly

3: Mages/Fighters Guild Info

And many, many, many, many more things. So i'm not going to name them all.

I am mostly looking forward to finding out about the changes to the races and the character creation.

What is everyone else mostly looking forward to finding out about?

And sorry if something like this has already been made.

I'm interested in the changes they have reported about how they are handling factions, and you may be interested in what they have mentioned that there is no mages guild, although there will be another magic group that is similar.

I want to know how attributes are being handled.... Removed completely? Determined by skills? Determined by perks? S.P.E.C.I.A.L -like system?

I want to know how factions and the MQ will tie in, please no NV style factions/main quests. One main quest is enough. Different endings is fine but I dont want 6 dozen choices when I can only pick one per play through.

Can you please shut people up about spears and halberds once and for all?

Levitation. Squash it or confirm it. Put it to rest.

Confirmation list of skills. A couple are still debated over.

Riding horses. yay or neigh

fishing

Mostly I just want an extended sneak peak of gameplay, or a demo.

In the April IGN Interview Todd pretty much confirmed the removal of levitation with a promise of it being available as joke DLC for $300 (?).

I'm itching to know how complex the puzzles and traps will be in Skyrim, also looking forward to seeing some of the new dungeon settings and designs.

... and we probably won't know the answer for most of these questions even after E3.

We will get more info, but not about everything. And that's good...

I dunno if your're being serious, if you are, then that DLC bit was a joke...

Part of me wants to know very little else and just pop the game in on 11.11 and be totally in the dark. The other part of me says "yea right" and of course i'm going to eat up everything single morsel of information.

we actually did learn about the character creation. he said we would pick a race, as usual, but then they would gie you a ton of different options for preset noses and such and after you choose those you may go into all the sliders and customize it however you want. he said that in oblivion the random button pretty much meant the "ugly" button and that the random button in skyrim can actually be used as a viable start to a character. i think he said all this in the GI magazine exclusive podcast interview if im not mistaken.

That's why I think levitation won't feature in the game.

After the Oblivion Crisis, the Mages Guild was dissolved for unknown reasons. The two splinter organizations were known as the Synod and the College of Whispers.

I mostly interesting in character creation and what all the races look like at the moment. But I'd be happy with any info.... or no info at all.

This.. mostly. I would like to see a developer video of soembody walking through a small village (not one of the cities, we need some surprises) basically walking around, talking to people, showing off the races and dialogue, etc. Maybe getting into combat with a thief or something and wasting his punk-ass.

It's not about "whining complacently" it's about knowing if I can even play the game or not

Make it $3 and I'll consider buying the DLC. :hehe: but if they add new spells it should be free.
