Yokuda a continent reappears

Desrciption
The MB Team want to rebuild the continent Yokuda and fill it with quest.
The Mod ist a this point of time only planed in German, the english Version still comes later.

We want to create a new dynamic world.
This world will show the player a long forgotten
world and a world with new places and adventures.

How we want to do this ?


You will find many of old books and scrolls about the
unkown destruction of Yokuda. Know you will know
why this continent was destroyed.
You will find new dungeons,citys,villages and magic places.
In Yokuda will be a Caste system also something different.

1F:How big will Yokuda be ?
1A:Smaler then the main game

2A:Yes, some new some from other modders.

3F:How many citys and villages do you want to build ?
3A:2-3 Citys and 5-8 villages

5A: No, but there will be patches.

Sounds impressive. I wish you all the luck to finish this, and not let it disappear like most ambitious projects.

PS: Doesn't the lore say that Yokuda was destroyed, and the Redguards sailed to Hammerfell?

The lore is.. contradictory, loke every other bit of Elder Scrolls lore. The Yokudan blademasters might have split the atom with their swords and nuked Yokuda, or maybe not. Who knows?

Yes Yokuda was destoryed and the yokudas went to Hammerfell, there they fight a war against the orcs and won it. But we will make something different then the lore. The lore says it goes under but why ? The Answer ist that there are many Vulcans on Yokuda and the biggest of them destoryed Yokuda.

Err... you want to make it lore friendly but want to have it destroyed by http://blog.peterkupfer.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/vulcan.gif (yes, I know you mean "volcanos")? And make the landscape all forests, rather than harsh deserts and mountains? The mod is looking pretty sweet, but it has nothing to do with the Yokuda of lore.

But yeah, like Lady Nerevar, I was surprised to see lush jungles. Granted the whole Yokuda returning is a mystery enough, and a lot could have happened on the continent that we aren't aware of. I will be checking this one out if it gets translated to english.

Really like the reed beds and clothesline. Makes me wonder how people in Cyrodiil dry their clothes? Oh yes, they have fully automatic washers and dryers

PS: Michael Kirkbride provided some Yokuda lore info when he describes Cyrus's fight with Vivec.
