Redguards come from Yokuda, and Imperials, Nords, and Bretons come from Atmora. This implies that the they just as related to the main human population as Argonians. But not once in-game that I can remember are they referred to as any thing but humans, or men.

Is there some obscure bit of Lore that speaks of an ancient migration from Atmora to Yokuda, or vice versa, or is there nothing? If so, what is your theory?

These are probably the two key texts to understanding this. As you can see, everybody really comes from the same place and were divided/separated after the fact. Its more appropriate to say that "Redguards came back from Yokuda" and that the "Nords came back from Atmora".

Was this during the current kalpa or before it?

The Dawn confusion caused in the World Eating 101 thread immediately comes to my mind.

It should be noted that only the Nords came from Atmora. The Nedes (thus the imperials and Bretons as well as Kothringi and others) were native to Tamriel.



Why wouldn't it be during the current one?

My theory, now that I have seen these things you guys have written, that-

Yokuda and Atmora broke from Tamriel as one continent, and then Yokuda broke off.

Yokuda must have been where the Black haired tribes, or just tribes, were at the time.

Or, Red Guards could have been natives all together, and could have left Hammerfell, once elves showed up.

Is there any certain reason why it would be that way instead of them breaking off as two from the start?

I don't know, but it happens.

On planet earth (It doesn't matter what you believe in, everyone agrees on this. I am not trying to turn this into a political discussion so don't even think about it.) the continents apparently used to be together. That is where Islands came from. Who ever said the same isn't from Tamriel?

They could have broke off at the same time. The point is, is that they broke off...

I did say the same was true from Tamriel in my first post. And you're the one that said you thought they broke off at different times, I asked you why you thought that...

I am saying it is possible. Doesn't really matter though.
