Good. He shouldn't have given us a timeframe at all for the last video if he couldn't stick to it, people were right to be annoyed. It's better this way.
Well....what's the PR guy's for if they are gonna tell everything on the day it's released....You could just possibly let us wander randomly into a game store and find a game by title "The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim" on the shelves on some random day without even announcing it.....
It's true he's the PR guy, so I guess he has to get used to being in the line of fire but still, I'd like to think we of this forum's intelligent user base would have a touch of empathy towards the guy. It's like yelling insanely at your waiter because you didn't like the food, while the chef who cooked it hides in the kitchen laughing.
Makes sense. No point giving a timeline if there's a chance it won't be met, and even if he was to make it vague it would just lead to loads of pestering. Now we'll possibly have surprise news, which will be much more fun!
I agree, Pete (and Bethesda) would be better served to just say on the day of, "Oh lookie, here's a link to some new Skyrim video footage". Then everyone will be pleasantly surprised. The problem is, I've seen many posts demanding more footage because some people haven't seen anything in a few weeks and that is "unacceptable".
