When I played Morrowind for the first time, I thought it was a masterpiece, so much content, lore and life in just one single CD, and such game-play, such a unique world, such an enchanting under-current stories that you could miss, if you passed over them.
Each place had its own soul and style and felt unique, and the end result was a feeling of awe at the game's grandness.
And that was before I knew about the unparalleled mod-ability of the game.
Seriously, I have not seen any other game that could compete with BGS's masterpieces, in this aspect, and this factor alone can keep a game alive and buzzing long after you have forgotten other games.
And Skyrim seems to be their new hot blood champion, ready to win the game of the year cup, with a flourish and a freezing look over a hard smirk, and I can not wait to see it in action. :trophy:
