Fallout 4 not releasing – The latest game in the series is set to be cancelledFallout has been one of the most popular gaming series on its launch, and has been hailed as a great game by the gamers and critics alike.

The game is based in a post-apocalyptic world, and is an RPG (Role Playing Game).

The specialty, the unique thing about this series has been the fact that they have set the game in the 22nd/23rd century.



However the artwork remains that of the 1950s – this is a ‘retrofuturistic’ artwork, which sets this game apart from many like it. The game is hailed by many as the ‘spiritual successor’ of Wasteland, which released in 1988.

The last game of this series came out in 2008 – and since then the new owners of the game, Bethesda Softworks have been trying hard to make this game a multiplayer game.

However, due to legal restrictions upon them and due to cases filed against them by Interplay Entertainment, the original creators of the game, they were unable to launch a game.

Bethesda had intended to make the game an MMO (massively multiplayer online) game. fallout 4, upon its release, would have been the seventh release in the series and the fourth big game to have been made.

However, what the latest news suggests is the fact that Bethesda is now deciding to drop the line once and for all. It has anyway been six years since the last game came out, and the company seesm frustrated with delay in the release.

The development is reportedly being rejected by the creative agencies and the directors want many major changes. This has lead to many internal conflicts in the company and the release might never even take place in reality. We hope this is not the case, and the franchise makes a return.

However, despite our ‘hopes’ the latest updates suggest that the game might in fact be actually shutting down. The creators of the game have shown their disinterest in the development in recent times, and many ideas that the creatives are bringing for the game are being rejected.

Last month a few creatives were fired from the team, and it is also another indication that the game is not progressing the way it is supposed to.

Another anonymous team member had reportedly said that the senior management has ‘lost it’ when it comes to releasing a new game in the series.

These internal indicators suggest that the developers have decided to remove the organ before it gets cancerous. Apparently someone in the back end management team thinks that a new game in the series will not be a good idea.
