If you can become a werewolf yourself...

Post » Sat Sep 17, 2011 8:23 pm

It has not been confirmed by a dev but im hoping it none the less and think it is in now

I want it to be like Daggerfall tbh

I don't want to wear no damn clothing or armor or use any weapons when I am in were form, I want to use my claws to attack and even my fangs

I want to be able to run really fast and jump high but not transform every nice, it seemed like it daggerfall it was almost 5 days later you turn and I enjoyed that, I would like a insane feeding animation and attack animations JUST for werewolves/creatures though, no copy and paste as if you are holding a sword-_-

Both moons should alter your transformation specs, so maybe when it is one moon is full you are half as strong as you are when both moons are full, maybe everything is stronger when both are full compared to just one moon

I can't member much else since I have talked about it so much but those are the main things, will edit when I remember more

im pretty sure you know more about werewolves than me, so i would like to ask a question

couldnt the werewolf kill bandits to sate its hunger? after all hircine sphere is the sacrifice of mortals (i think) and bandits are mortals

Humans, elves or beastfolk are all mortals. In Bloodmoon, we could kill any NPC to sate our hunger.

One thing that I never understood about shape-shifting in video games: where does your equipment go, lmao? Does it somehow get absorbed into your body while you transform? What if you're carrying silver in your backpack? XD

there is a daedric plane that is built like a pile, all filled with the items of people that shapeshifted, when you transform...into the pile they go, when you revert....there they are right back from the pile XD

You know I was accually kinda hoping it would rip off or get damaged enough so that it doesn't break totally (if it is armor) but just enough to slip out of when you transform and is left on the ground, besides with the new system in place maybe a person will come across it and pick it up and somehow....know that is....umm....yours :/ that made no sense now lol how would they know it was yours unles they saw you drop it?

Either way I would always RP in MW that I would go to my home and leave all my stuff or put it near someplace I would remember than come back to it after I became Human again...and you know...hope it was still there and the game just didn't delete it :spotted owl:

I plan on killing all vampires and werewolves. I don't get the fascination of being either. Maybe on my 3rd or 4th play-through I might try one.

I would like the female model to look at least somewhat different. (Not sure if they did that in Bloodmoon; didn't notice any discrepancies from vids) Perhaps a smaller waist and a slimmer model overall?

thanks, never played bloodmoon, and im glad to hear i can use any random bandit to sate the hunger (no where near enough villagers to feed a growing werewolf in the game)

Does anyone else want to have a kind of "pounce" attack? When in the air, you hold down the RT (R2, or left click) and if you hit someone below you, you end up pouncing on top of them and biting doing about as much damage as a charged attack or critical depending on if you pounce the enemy from behind (think of it as the werewolf backstab), or the front knocks down the enemy and gives the werewolf in question a chance to escape while they are disorientated.

Just my thoughts on a new ability, most likely won't be implemented but I think it would be a cool little attack, and hell maybe enemy werewolves could do the same.

Haha, that's a great way at looking at it! That was actually the only possible way I could look at it from afar, as a pocket plane for equipment, but I never associated it with Daedra. That's good! XD

I would really like a "rip off clothes" animation myself, that would be really, really cool! Even if there are playable werewolves, though, I wouldn't expect Skyrim to have such a dynamic animation. Maybe 8 years from now but otherwise no.

I think, aside from the notion that equipment goes to a pocket daedra plane, I will have to role-play the same way before I shape-shift. I always hated that for druids in WoW... -_-

As for shouts...

I think howls could be used to sound them, maybe slighty varied effects from them while 'wolf-ed up'. same thing for vampires could work too, they could get a different sound and slightly varied shout abilities.

Yes! It can have mechanics similar to the Space Marine jump pack ground pound, with a targeted retina.

If we actually can become a werewolf, I would want it to be somthing like this:
* You can only become a werewolf when it's a full moon. (rarely).
* Increased HP.
* Increased strength.
* Increased stamina, faster movment & better jumping skills.
* Power claw attacks & bite attack/finnishing moves.
* Night vision that is better than the Khajiit's.
- You couldn't use any of your spells or powers.
- Extra vulnerable to any silver weapons and fire spells (the fur will take fire and burn damage).
- A quest that involves a Epic battle against the vampires or a spesefic vampire.

Reminds me of the Hunter from Left 4 Dead. I like it.

I wish Pete would respond to more tweets. But then again...

If the werewolf model is based on a canine, and a Khajiit is based on a feline, then Khajiits should have a much better low light visual acuity than a werewolf. As in, cats can see in much lower light conditions than a dog can.

Yeah. As for transformation animations, it would be cool, but it's not really mandatory. In Bloodmoon, the scene turned black and the PC turned into a werewolf. In Skyrim, it would be cool to have the same effect, but with sound effects such as the screaming of the player, male or female and the grunting of sounds as if he/she were being burned by fire in the game. Then add the snarl of a wolf. And continue the game as a werewolf.

Or the cutscenes could be added like in Bloodmoon as well. Blackout, cutscene, then werewolf.

I for one don't like this idea, just because it makes us females sound weak, smaller build overall? I think not, I say make them all all the same MAYBE a smaller waist over all and boobs (covered by fur of course) to show that it is a female or just the basic model for all

1. I should be very powerful (even stronger than my human form)
2. High jump and very fast
3. A werewolf clan for me to join and rise to Alpha Wolf (a werewolf village/settlement)
4. Ripping my victims apart (But, no dismemberment, so not possible :sadvaultboy: )
5. Have to kill and feed once a night (either NPC or livestock)

1. Pack/Guild
2. Claw-to-claw combat fair tradeoff for weapons.
3. Transformation every week or two, with Hircine's ring for willful transformation.

If you ARE seen, you'll be known as the werewolf, therefore, a danger. WANTED.

So a return of the psychic guards then?

Would they get 2 boobies? Or like 8-12? Heh.

Ok, it's clear that you want to provide an incentive to be voracious. Here's my idea on how to achieve that:

Stages of voracity:
  • Normal
  • You no longer see the landscape. All you see is just shadows reminiscant of the shape of the landscape.
  • You no longer see NPC's and opponents. Instead, you have a permanent Detect Life effect that lets you know when something is close. But you cannot tell whether it's friend or foe.
  • You no longer see your stats (Health, Magicka and Stamina), so you cannot tell whether or not the "things" you see with the above Detect Life are dealing damage to you.

Any time that you kill something, your voracity level goes back to normal. The longer you wait, the further your wild instincts take over and the harder it is for you to think straight - everything just suddenly feels like a threat.

Was this in the previous games? This NEEDS to be in Skyrim, think of it, you blank out and end up killing your best friend in the game, or wife. Very dramatic and great for rp :celebration:
