by meeting the requirements and taking the perk then pressing back and redistributing the skills and not changing the selected perk after even tho its greyed out?

or does this only work for jury rigging ? or is it only worth doing for jury rigging ?

Dude can you please write out your questions more clearly? The above post is made up of a run-on sentence with no subject.

I think I know what he's trying to say....

When you level up you select your point distribution. Afterwards you move onto the perk selection (if it's an even number level your getting up to). You cannot pick a perk and then backtrack your point distribution. Why would you want to anyway? Repair is one of the best, most profitable, skills in the game, especially with jury rigging.

Oh ic. I think me is trying to cheat the system by getting 90 repair via skill distribution, choosing Jury rigging, going back to skill points and redistributing to other skills, and then without clicking anything try to get the perk. No the game doesn't work like that because when you click back it looses your original choice and you have to click the perks again.

There was a thread about this just a week or so back. Even if it were stickied, it wouldn't stop him from making 10 new threads anyway.

Your wrong, it remembers the perk and let's you pick it without the requirement. I made a thread about it a while ago - http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1397072-a-little-tip-for-everyone-skill-distribution-during-level-up-for-perk-requirements/

I use it for perks which have odd requirements, pyromaniac for example. It allows me to have 45 explosives (which I never use) and the perk.

Really? I remember trying this once out of curiosity but it booted me. Well I personally don't like pulling moves like this but to each their own in how they play this game considering its single player.

Like I said, I use it for perks like pyromaniac. The perk mostly affects melee and energy weapons, so my non-explosive characters only need 45 explosives skill rather than 60 (if I have 15 skill points per level up).
