There are a number of awesome choices (also, really, someone said Cass would be hella old at like 40? COME ON PEOPLE), I still find Fawkes the most adorable of all.

i don't think he'd leave either, but that was definitely my favorite character in fallout universe. its a real shame his quests weren't longer. I would have liked him to play a more prominent role.

I dont think we will see ANY people from NV. Its not really Bethesda's game and I dont think they would feel too comfortable using any of 'Obsidians' stuff.

If we do get any repeat characters they will only be drawn from FO3

I don't want a character coming back for the sake of coming back.

For characters i liked and i think would benefit from a come-back.

- Marcus. It already happen so i am not sure i should ask again. I kind of imagined his future evolving toward something more ambitious. The guy manage to make normals, super-mutants and ghouls coexist and work together in a mixed city. I always though that he would somehow use that experience on a larger scale. For instance, become an ambassador of the alternate humans within the NCR or even the ambassador of the NCR in another region. I keep wondering how great it would have been to have ambassador Marcus instead of ambassador Crocker, and how he would give order to all the NCR subodinates. Instead of that, he was downgraded in unitiing only the super-mutants. But i guess i makes for a more realistic turn. It isn't because you are worthy and have the skills to make a difference that you will necessary suceed in what you do. Also, i didn't expected the NCR to become more dismissive toward super-mutants between Fallout 2 and Fallout New Vegas.

- Goris, K-9 and Skynet. Contrary to guys like Cassidy and Vic, those npc come so late into the party that they don't get as much develloppement as the others, despite their interesting concept. I would like those characters to be expanded, somehow...

- Barnaky & Calculator fuse. The Barnaky ending leave starving for more. I would love to see the faction they created roam the wasteland and cause troubles. Same for the new faction opposing them.

- Raul. Not spending too much time on it, but i would like to see how he would settle down...

- Not necessary use them in other games, but it would have been nice to have the followers from FoNV DLCs appear a bit later in the main game, and see a bit of their evolution. (i think about Ulysses, Domino, Christine, God, the HH tribal that want to see the world etc...)

- Fred, from Fo2 becoming even more rich....

The Doctor Henry, that you meet in Jacobstown is a character from Fallout 2. He won't admit it, but he seems to me that he tries to make amends for his Fo2's mistakes.

Also, it is not specified in the thread title if the game should set in the east. It could be any upcoming game of the series, east or west coast...

Myron had some of the funniest dialogue.. He was just such an obnoxious pompous ass that it was almost endearing. So yeah, return of Myron. (even though he'd pretty much be dead by now... he'd have to have become a ghoul or something.)

Feasible returning characters from old games could be Skynet, K-9, Robodog or Harold.

(since Harold has already been in every game except tactics and NV, it's probably safe to assume he will make some sort of return.. Maybe a piece of "Harold kindling" that you'll find and carry along with you.. It'd be like having a talking sword only it'd be a useless talking stick.)

Myron was killed by a jet fiend, it is in his bio:( the kid who invented jet from cow poo is dead...

If we put aside the fact he already had a canon death in Fo2, he wouldn't be too old to appear in Fo2. See the Doctor Henry example above, which was already older than Myron in Fo2 (Myron was a teenager). Although, as much as i love Myron, i don't think his return would be necessary. He have enough character develloppement in Fo2. I am not sure they would have enough material to expand his character in an upcoming title. A comeback from him would only be a gimmick, IMO...

Sarah Lyons leading the Lyons Chapter in Boston. I would like that character to better written and more fleshed out, so FO4 seems like a good oppurtunity to do it.

Sarah Lyons, Moira Brown, Fawkes and Dr. Li from FO3. Sally from Mothership Zeta. ED-E, Rex / Rex's Pups, Raul Tejada, Cass and Veronica Santangelo from FNV. Dean Domino, Dog/God and Follows-Chalk from the FNV DLC.

Anyone of these I would love to see, but IF i had to pick one it would be Veronica hands down.

Maybe the AntAgonizer can show up with her army of ants to attack your settlement, and the Mechanist can show up to defend you.
