You can rename your saves.

If you want I can write down here how to rename your saved games, unless people don't know this already. It really makes life easier when loading... :toughninja:

If you are on the PC you can name them when you save them by using the console. Open up the console and: save [single word save name here minus the brackets]

I do this a lot, it's actually faster than using the menu. While my game plays fine, for some reason the save menus are slow. Maybe because they have to load up all my previous saves, which I really need to clean out.

This is only on PC version, but I think on PS3 you can do it also, "where your saved game location is on hard disk"

Basically on PC, go to START--- documents--- My games- Skyrim-- Saves.
And now here click and press rename... delete everything cept those numbers at end it looks something like this "Save 496 - Bolvar Skyrim 14.25.32.ess" Now you just delete " Save 496 -Bolvar Skyrim" and then just type what ever you like (for instance) something like this "My first save14.25.32.ess"
